A large 3 STAR chalet, moments from the centre and offering excellent value.

It is our experience that everyone who stays in our chalet really regard it as a beautiful place to be, well provided for and perfectly positioned as it is just a few minutes to access the village and ski lifts - ideally suited for families and friends as well as groups of friends.

Whenever possible we try to make our homely chalet availabile on a flexible basis to suit visitors arrangements. The chalet is available as 'exclusive use' self catering for 10 in 5 twin rooms OR on a B&B style basis for 8 in 4 rooms.

Ez Champlains is a premier chalet in one of the best Morzine locations - sunny, peaceful, yet conveniently close to all central amenities and access to ski lifts. Large and bright our comfortable private home has a 3-4 star 'Meuble de Tourisme' rating. From the balcony and the majority of rooms is the wonderful panorama of open pasture, woods and awesome alpine scenery across to Morzine centre and the Pleney slopes.

The chalet is not a commercial enterprise, it is a privately owned family home that we are prepared to share. It enables visitors the opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy the benefits of life in the mountains summer or winter, smell the wood smoke, socialise, relax and keep life simple.

Well equipped with utensils and crockery and a good library, guests have all they need for a home from home.

TV, Computers, and similar are not provided although there is wifi for the desperate. All beds have an anti bug and moisture protection mattress cover plus a fitted flanalette cover sheet.

SUNDAY AND MIDWEEK ARRIVALS CAN BE CONSIDERED as this has proven to be better for guests when booking flights and transfers but is of course subject to timetabling and other bookings.

LINEN: Duvets and pillows are provided. Base sheet, duvet cover, pillowcases, bath towels, bath mats and tea towels are required. Guests can supply their own (recommended) OR these can be rented by arrangement.

CLEANING: Equipment is supplied and laundry facility is available. For B&B guests this is included. End of stay cleaning for self catering visitors can be undertaken by our local manager but will be subject to additional charges, usually around 100 euros.

BABY SITTING: Arrangements can be made with our locally based manager.

CATERING: Although there are many good restaurants in Morzine, some visitors prefer to stay home and eat without the bother of shopping and cooking. Catering can be provided by a number of freelance caterers in the area so guests can either book their favoured chef via the internet prior to arrival for those special occasions or 3 course evening meals with wine can be arranged. Please ask for details. Prices are variable and subject to quote.

THE CHALET: It is detached, with garden and open land to the front and sides with parking for 2-3 cars. From the drive at the rear you enter the chalet via the ski/cloak room which leads to WC, family bathroom, kitchen, dining area, lounges and a bedroom. Access to the terrace is from the dining area, lounge and bedroom. The main lounge, which has a large stone fireplace and corner style sofa seating, is open plan incorporating a smaller lounge and a dining area; this in turn leads to the kitchen. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, balcony and a bathroom with WC. All bedrooms have 2 beds.

40TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MORZINE

We travelled to Morzine to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our family, seven adults and two children ,we found the chalet to be clean and tidy on our arrival, and the views over Morzine to the slopes and mountains were fantastic.
The chalet was well fitted out with cups, glasses, plates, pots, etc more than enough for our group.
Plenty of hot water,
Our family enjoyed the "feel" of the chalet, comfortable and easy to relax in.
There is a large fireplace in the lounge which was great for a nice log fire in the evening, however we would suggest if you are able, try and get some logs
on the way to the chalet to ensure you have a fire on your first night.
Morzine itself is a very pretty place, the skiing was ideal for our mixed ability
group which included our five year old grandaughter skiing for the first time.
Apre ski was one of the best we have experienced, prices not as expensive as
in some resorts, but obviously dearer than in UK.
Peter, the owner was very helpful through the booking process, and we were
able to meet him before our trip which was useful.
We would happily recommend this chalet to our friends,and would use
again if we revisit Morzine.

CHRISTMAS IN THE ALPS!

Lovely comfortable chalet and perfect for a family holiday.Cosy with a home from home feel. We had nearly three weeks here and could have stayed longer! Was a wonderful place to spend Christmas.

Our three teenage girls loved the Buddha Bar and plenty going on in Morzine to keep them happy, we loved that too but also the stunning views over the village and the quiet and private setting of the chalet so everyone happy.The walk over the bridge home was always a highlight! Some excellent restaurants, take owners advice here. Generally found Morzine to be good value for money and very friendly.

On a practical note the chalet was clean and well equipped with everything we needed and the layout ideal for a family where we all appreciated the space and opportunity for a little time out. Four generous and very pretty double bedrooms on the first floor, two with stunning views and a private bedroom on the ground floor for us. Lounge and open fire a real delight. Parking just outside the door so if you drive its very convenient. All in all would highly recommend!

FAMILY SKI HOLIDAY

We rented this chalet for one week from the 26th february 2011 and found it ideal for our party of nine, with five bedrooms(many have four or less)we accomodated our group of Grandma & Grandad five grandchildren and two friends two to a room, the two baths and toilets are also ideal. The chalet is a short walk from all the facilities of the town and lifts, we had fresh snow on two days and a very enjoyable holiday.

LONG WEEKEND IN MORZINE

We chose this chalet for our annual men's ski trip. All 7 of us were wowed by the chalet. Some of us had been skiing many times before and this chalet was the best we had stayed in.
Parking for cars, ski room, 2 bathrooms, wonderful lounge overlooking Morzine with the floodlight slope visible through the lounge picture windows. Veranda to keep beers cool on and to view the night sky
Peter the owner was in residence throughout our stay - there in the background to provide useful tips and advice and also to help our novices on the slopes.
Only a few hundred yards form the super morzine bubble lift. Just minutse walking to the town center - so convenient for restuarants & shopping.
The chalet had everything - roaring fire, full kitchen/saucepans, dining room - i can't say enough good things about this chalet - we are talking about going back next yaer already!
