You're looking at Copper Mountain's best ski-in and ski-out location. Walk out the door of Copper Junction, right up to the American Eagle lift located in the center village. Enjoy the views from the living room windows that overlook the Burning Stones Plaza, Copper Mountain's main village, American Eagle lift, and its main ski slopes.

Enjoy almost 1400 square feet in this spacious two-bedroom plus loft unit. As one of the first condos built at Copper, the advantages are best location and spaciousness. The newer condo buildings, while being beautiful with great amenities, are much smaller in comparison. This condo's area of living space clearly outsizes the competition for this prized location.

But, please note that if you're looking for luxury or premium accommodations, Copper Junction is not the condo for you. The building was built in 1973 and has not changed much since. But, if you're looking for a convenient and roomy home for your fully-charged ski vacation, you'll love this unit. Most of our guests love the condo and its location - we have many repeat customers. But those of you who are happiest in upscale, luxury accommodations, then please check out the Cirque or the Cache!

The main floor master bedroom has a king bed and private three-quarter bath.The upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and shares a full bath with the loft; the loft has two single beds. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and a half bath located on the main floor. This rare combination of size and location accommodates six people sleeping separately, or three couples privately and up to ten people for those full-on stays.

Watch your favorite shows and movies on the 55' flat screen HDTV w/ DVD in the living room. Or get cozy in bed and watch on the 40' flat screens in both bedrooms.

This unit is smoke free, and offers free wifi, free parking, a fully equipped kitchen, and lots of extra supplies.

This condo is still pet-friendly. The pet fee is $50 per pet per night. There are no exceptions to the pet fee, even for your exceptionally behaved non-shedding pet. Guests in violation of the pet policy will be charged a minimum of $300.

Skiers will love and be spoiled by this impeccable location. Just steps from the chairlifts everyone will enjoy the living room mural views of the ski slopes and appreciate the broad array of shopping and dining possibilities beneath the condominium on the Burning Stones Plaza.

Please note: Check-in time is any time after 4pm. Check-out time is any time before 10am. We are not able to accommodate an early check-in and/or late check-out.

Payment/Cancellation Policy - We require a 50% initial payment to confirm the reservation and the balance is due 60 days before your Arrival Date. If you cancel more than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date, if we re-book the unit, we will refund the deposit minus a $100 cancel fee. NO REFUNDS given for cancellations made within 60 days of the reservation. There are no exceptions to this policy. We highly recommend Travel Insurance including coverage for cancellation due to any reason. Unused nights caused by early departure, and/or a reduction in nights, for any reason, are considered cancellations.

Perfect Family Ski Vacation!!!

This was our second year to rent this condo. It is truly ski-in, ski-out, and it is wonderful!! The view from the condo is also excellent! We had 10 in our party, 8 adults and 2 children, and there was plenty of room. We all slept comfortably. It is the most convenient location, and the space is wonderful. Leigh is great to work with. We hope to be able to rent this one again next year!!

Great family ski vacation

Upon arrival we were surprised to find the unit supplied with most kitchen supplies (including code set up), shampoos, soaps, paper items, hairdryer, and lotions. THis should be listed on your website to cut down on luggage fees for guests.

The condo had great views of the main ski lift and center square. Within walking of many shops and restaurants.

Great condo for our family of 5

My family skis every year at Copper Mountain, and this condo was perfect for our family of five. The description of the condo was very accurate and we appreciated the honesty about this building being old so we knew what to expect, and what not to expect. It was fine for us because we were looking for a convenient location, large space and separate sleeping arrangements. This condo isn't luxury, but it was perfect for all of our needs and had some nice features and updates. The additional benefit of the discounted rentals right in the building was nice and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and the directions to the condo were clear and easy to follow. Leigh was quick to respond to e-mail questions we had about the condo. We have rented through her a few times now and are always impressed with the level of service provided.

For those who have children learning to ski, we recommend the magic carpet area just outside this condo. It’s very convenient and especially when you have a little one with a short attention span. We took quick breaks in the condo and went right back out. We also enjoyed Critterland that Leigh suggested for us to go with our kids. Also, the mountain was not crowded and there were no lift lines. We hope this condo is available next year for our dates.

Highly Recommend!

Nice condo, very clean, well equipped, comfortable and definitely the best location at Copper! The layout is spacious and good for 1 – 2 families. We had a short stay in early February and wished we had booked it longer. We tried to extend our stay, but the condo was already booked. Not surprised.

The VRBO listing was very accurate. Everything looked just like the photos and the description was spot-on. We haven't always had such luck with our VRBO stays. This condo is definitely used heavily because of the location, but everything is in fine working order and very clean.

There were games and movies – we really enjoyed Jenga! The kitchen was supplied with very nice cookware, dishes and knives – not usually what we see in rental units. The manager provided impeccable service from first inquiry, to arrival instructions, help during our stay, and follow up with a feedback request. This kind of excellent service makes you realize how rarely you get good service anymore, compliments to the manager/owner. Would stay here again and recommend without hesitation.

Disappointed

Contact with the owner prior to our long weekend was positive. She was very pleasant, accommodating and responsive To our questions. The location of the condo was outstanding and generally our weekend experience was good.

On the negative side, there were several issues with the condo that needed attention. Most of them are small things that with regular maintenance could be remedied. We were quite disappointed that the window shades of what would have otherwise been a fantastic view were broken. I understand that things break and according to the maintenance man new shades had been ordered. However, it would have nice had the owner left a note informing of the situation so that our initial reaction was not so negative.

Probably the most disturbing was that the condo was not exceptionally clean. In particular, prior to use we had to wash all the dishes: plates, bowls, glasses, pots and pans, silverware. The inside of the refrigerator was dirty etc. This is just unacceptable.

Finally, it was quite disappointing and inconvenient that the elevator broke during our stay. Walking up and down four flights of stairs with our supplies and luggage, not to mention in our ski boots on ski days, was particularly difficult. The elevator situation hardly made the excellent location worthwhile. Again, it is understood that things break and the elevator was not within the owner's control. However, as a matter of customer service an offer for some level a recompense would have been appropriate, whether that was a partial refund or even a promise of a discount for a future stay.

It could be an excellent place with a bit of care and attention.

Wonderful!

There was a group of 10 of us that went to Copper Mountain and stayed at Copper Junction. Our condo was so much better than we could have imagined! It was a wonderful location, right by the American Eagle lift & also has shops, restaurants, market, and more located just right outside. We were all very impressed with how well they stock the condo. It had entertainment such as games, movies, iHome, etc. The kitchen had pots, pans, dishes, sugar, spices, and so much more. There was plenty of blankets, pillows, fans, and humidifiers. We all look forward to visiting again! The condo owner, Leigh, was always very prompt to answer any questions we had.

*Copper Free Ride: 970 556-8687** In addition to the existing free Copper shuttle buses, the Copper Free Ride provides door-to-door, on-demand, transportation for skiers and riders, and is an open-air electric cart, holding 6 passengers. It is available from 8:30 to 11am and 3 to 5:30pm. The vehicle can be flagged down by guests desiring a ride, or the service can be requested by calling 970 556-8687. Riders should call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time.
