The carriage house is water view, and the Water/Beach access is .2 mile walk to Lowman Beach. This park has a tennis court and stone bath to a public beach with lots of logs for climbing or sitting. There is a lovely sandy beach another .2 miles south of Lowman called Lincoln Park. We have two bikes that make it even easier to get there. There is also an Olympic size outdoor pool open all summer in the afternoons. For little ones there are summer wading pools and two large play grounds.
Inside the cottage, there is lots of space for reading, relaxing, or watching television. There is a gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and washer-dryer.

This cottage is one of the most beautiful, nicest places I have stayed. The best part is that it is surrounded by nature. When I was there, all the trees around were flowering and the moss on the stone pathways, the terraced gardens and houses, and the beach reminded me of Japan. If you're luck and it's sunny, you can look out over the water to snow-capped mountains in the distance. It's nice to sit on the beach watching the ships go by and the seagulls in the water. The gas fireplace is a very nice, cozy touch. The kitchen with the gas stove, a full sized fridge, and granite countertops is great. Kyle and Michael keep it stocked with basic things like salt, sugar, teas, and oil. The queen bed is also very comfortable and there is a washer and dryer right there in the unit. It's a wonderful, quiet place to relax in nature just minutes away from a fast-moving, tightly-packed city. I can't recommend Kyle and Michael's cottage enough!
The cottage is spacious and very well laid out. The kitchen is well equipped. There are views of the sound - a nice small view from the kitchen and a very nice view from the living room, looking toward Lincoln park. It was difficult finding the drive late at night in the dark. GPS on Google maps helped a lot. The house number is not shown on the street. The driveway has a mailbox to the left for the 12 served residences and just past that down the drive is a house marker 6565. The cottage is just a little farther.
While looking for a romantic getaway, we stumbled upon this cottage. It was perfect! Cozy, clean, with a gorgeous view and all of the amenities you could need. It being a short walk to Lincoln park and pet-friendly, the cottage was a perfect destination for our small dog. Set in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by the water, it was the perfect Valentine's weekend getaway.
The unit was exceptionally clean and very well located for enjoying the Sound and getting around West Seattle. The owners were very flexible with our last night arrival and seemed more than helpful although the apartment so well stocked we didn't have to contact them. We hope to stay here again next time we come to visit family.
I don't normally write reviews, but this was fantastic experience. I was concerned at first about the stone stairs and path since I had to wear a large boot for a stress fracture, but I had no problem navigating the stairs or pathway. We are both over 65 years old. The cleanliness and views were excellent. After spending all day looking for property in West Seattle it was nice to go to a quiet and cozy spot at the end of the day. Thank you again.
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights for a break away from our 3 children, we wanted somewhere peaceful to use as our base and this was perfect! I don't tend to submit reviews but this well deserves it. The setting is really pretty & quiet, the decor, cleanliness & comfort excellent. I would compare this to at least a 4 star rating in the UK. We had a car and travelled each day to hike around various different sites, would recommend taking the ferry across to Downtown if visiting there. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!!
Close proximity to Downtown Seattle, but in a very quiet and relaxing, waterfront area of West Seattle. Located on a bus line (Seattle metro 37 and short walk to Rapid C line)and 15 minute drive from the West Seattle Water Taxi that can take you right to the downtown waterfront.
