The Muckle Howf is a converted traditional Scottish stone-built holiday home in Central Scotland. What makes it special is the setting combined with the very high standard achieved which has been awarded ‘five stars’ from the Scottish Tourist Board. It is unique in its quiet country setting, surrounded by natural gardens, a brown trout lochan and its own private hot tub. The Muckle Howf has wonderful views, sunsets and privacy but due to its location it becomes an ideal place to base yourself for easy access to some of Scotland’s finest country and tourist attractions. Strike out from here to visit Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument, Edinburgh or Glasgow or head north for the Highlands, Scotland’s National Parks or the mountains and lochs of the Trossachs. For golfers it couldn’t be better with an array of golf courses including the famous Gleneagles courses only minutes away by car.
This accommodation offers a private hot tub on the patio in a private garden both for your use only. In addition there is access to our own extensive garden, woodlands, summerhouse and trout pond where you can fish (by prior arrangement only). We also have a selection of animals and poultry around the farm. And are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.
The Muckle Howf is exceptionally well located for easy access to main routes offering a wide range of places to visit across Scotland.
To book we ask for a 20% deposit to secure the booking with full and final payment due six weeks prior to arrival.
