Apartment “La Terrazza” is a romantic, lovely apartment fully renewed in the heart of historical centre, close to the characteristic open-market of S. Ambrogio. It is located inside a gorgeous XVIIIc palace of Borgo la Croce which has a monumental stone stair. With its spacious living/dining room, and a comfortable double size bed, it is the perfect choice for two persons who wish to visit Florence by walk. It has an independent kitchen area fully furnished with dishwasher, oven, microwave, and fridge with freezer; one bathroom with shower; independent laundry area with lavatory and washing machine. The apartment has all the furniture needed plus TV, DVD and air conditioning system. La Terrazza takes its name from the marvellous 34sqm private terrace that has a 360 degrees view of Florence; it is equipped with table and chairs, useful if you want to enjoy a romantic dinner over Florentine roofs. Living in apartment “La Terrazza” allows you to have Florence on the palm of your hand.

The Perfect Haven

La Terrazza is the perfect haven in the city. The location is excellent, the views fantastic and the caretaker very friendly. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Due to the location at the top of the palace the apartment feels very private it is quiet and peaceful which after a few days in a vibrant city is a tonic. The highlight is the roof terrace which has wonderful views over Florence and is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine after a days sightseeing. It's a gem!

Everything we hoped for

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Terrazza the first week of April. The immediate neighborhood was not overrun by tourists but everything you need is available nearby. The terrace is fabulous. There's a good mostly-pedestrian street that connects the apartment with the city center - we enjoyed walking to all the key sights. The market is wonderful - our favorite dinners were ones we cooked in the kitchen with food from the market and then ate on the terrace as the sun set. The description is is right on in all regards. I would certainly recommend it. You do have to walk up a few floors.
