Perched on the top of a hill that looks down unto the sea at 350 m., the village of Lingueglietta is surrounded by pines, oaks, chestnuts, olive trees, lemon groves and flowers cultivations. Due to its medieval structure of narrow and twisted small roads, the village is not open to traffic on wheels: a free parking lot allows you to “forget” about your car 300 m. away. However you’ll have to carry your shopping and luggage by hand. Close to the village, the characteristic seaside resort of S. Lorenzo al Mare (7 km) - easily reached by shuttle bus - offers a pleasant situation: sand beaches, rocks and bathing establishments, bars and restaurants. You can also explore the many picturesque villages inland, where you can find typical small restaurants and eat the old local recipes, or visit Imperia (20 minutes). Notwithstanding the incredible quiet, Lingueglietta is very well connected to the resorts of the Riviera and the French Cote d'Azur.

Notes: Casa Bellini has an articulated structure, in the characteristic style of the ancient Ligurian houses. The first level has an entrance/dining room, a very pleasant living room, a study with a sofa-bed and a full operating kitchen (both have a splendid view of the sea and the surrounding hills). The second level has the master bedroom (1 double bed), a small room with 2 single beds (convertible by request into 1 large bed), a bathroom and another living room (with fireplace), which opens into 2 outside terraces and 1 covered loggia. The furniture comes from old country tradition, creating a relaxing welcoming feeling. The internal spaces are well aired with an abundance of daylight, even if some rooms are enclosed like monastic cells and has not direct daylight. The first terrace and the covered loggia have tables and chairs for outside eating, while the upper terrace has easy chairs for sunbathing or viewing the moonlight on the sea among the tiny lights of the fishing boats.

Our first time renting, so we were pleased to tell you Casa Bellini is every bit as good as described if not better. We found it very comfortable, spacious and well equipt. Very homely. A up-hill walk to the car park with some steps so not very suitable for the disabled. The viev fron the trraces is beautiful and very peace full. We had a wonderful 3 week in June and loved every minute.
The location is good if you have a car, 10mins down to the little coast resort of San Lorenzo Not far from San Reno and even nearer to Imperior.
For us it was perfect
