Villa Zouila Mahdia is situated in a traditional residential area close to the everyday life of Tunisia and yet just a ten minutes' walk from the beautiful beach of Mahdia. This self-catering apartment in Mahdia is at the ground floor and has two big terraces with many flowers. There is one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two separate beds. In the living room there are two traditional bed sofas. TV with satellite dish and DVD with a collection of international films. Air-conditioning and central heating. In the kitchen you will find a big refrigerator and a gas stove with oven. Bed linen and shower towels are provided - you only need to bring your own beach towels! There is a housekeeper in the evening and at night. Parking right in front of the flat. Welcome to Mahdia, Tunisia!

Villa Zouila Mahdia and our self-catering apartment L'Olivier in Mahdia, Tunisia is situated in a traditional residential area close to the beach. The closest international airport is in Monastir (MIR) at 50 kilometres from Mahdia. We can arrange your transfer from Monastir to our apartment in Mahdia if you like. There is a small supermarket at 250 metres. The closest bakery is only a few minutes away and it takes about ten minutes to walk to the beach. After a fifteen minutes' walk you'll arrive at the lovely old city of Mahdia, the médina, where you normally enter through Skifa El Kahla, the old city wall. Even today the traditional everyday life is still going on - in the silk factories and in the quaint tea houses! There is also a local market for the best fresh groceries or fish just captured the same morning. Welcome to Mahdia, Tunisia!

Sights of interest:: There are quite a few sights to discover at Mahdia but we also recommend a visit to the Roman amphitheatre in El Jem and a trip to Kairouan, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. You can easily take the direct train from Mahdia to Monastir and Sousse. And for people with a sense for adventure, a trip into the Sahara desert will be remembered for a long time!
