Ideal for enjoying the evening Ligurian Rotweis in absolute silence. Only the sounds of nature ...
What you can do: hiking, mountain biking, cycling just before the 'front door'. Swimming, sailing, surfing, whale watching at the sea (about 20 km). Golf, tennis, karting, bowling 20 km, riding 15 km away. Nearby points: Toirano caves, Hanbury Gardens, Genoa, Monte Carlo, Cinque Terre ... Other sport and leisure facilities will be furnished upon request.
... and even more ...: Testico / Ginestro is an ideal starting point for sunbathing, swimming and relaxing with nature, art and culture to join. The sea and beaches of the 'Riviera Ponente' with their sections 'Riviera delle Palme' (between Andora Albenga and Alassio), 'Riviera dei fiori' (between Ventimiglia and San Remo, Diano Martina, Cervo and Andora) is 20 km away . The path is not far to the medieval villages in the hinterland (Entroterra): the witches village Triora, the artist village Valloria and Dolcedo, Dolce Acqua, Apricale Bussana Vecchia Pieve di Teco, Bajardo, Perinaldo, Badalucco, Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena, Nasino, Castel Bianco, Balestrino, Toirano Boissano Noli and many more. Particularly attractive are the valleys in which these villages - some 'stuck' as the mountain - are: The Nervia (Nervia Valley), that and the Argentina Valley (Valle Argentina), the Impero Valley (Val Impero), the Arroscia Valley (Valle Arroscia) of course 'our' Merulatal.
... and even more ...: We have explored some hikes in recent years directly from the Casa Ginestra. Our favorite ways: * 1 round trip to Ginestro overlooking Ginestro, Poggio and the Casanova Lerrone Valley. About 1 hour: Comfortable walking path. * Circular route via Poggio 2. 1.5 hours: Easy trail overlooking Ginestro and Casanova Lerrone Valley. The path runs on the opposite side of the valley. Unfortunately, he is partially a little overgrown, but with normal footwear to go still good. * 3 trail over the Passo Ginestro with panoramic views to Albenga, Casanova Lerrone the Impero Valley, the Merulatal and the entire stretch of coast between Albenga and Andora. About 4 hours: demanding trail with a height difference of 300 meters and short steep sections of the path. We recommend good shoes.
