Great location and very friendly and attentive owner. The apartment is very modern with a wide array of computer controlled lighting and shading. One can easily walk to all the main sites from this place. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Very quiet and clean. Less than a block away from the subway. The kids loved the layout of the apartment and were very entertained with the hammock in the living room. I would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is really nice, big, well decorated (modern and stylish design). Equipment is perfect, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, even a steam oven!
Everything was perfectly clean and the beds area amazingly comfortable! We slept like babies.
Everything is also well equipped for babies (bed, seat, security).
Good point is also the two toilets.
The two "negative points" would be:
- parking: the streets around are crowded so difficult to find a EUR 1 per hour parking slot. We had to go to the next car park, above a gas station, EUR 18 per day! They do a special offer for 1 week: EUR 60 but we were not aware of it.
- the rooms: the ad says 2 rooms and total of 6 guests. But in reality, there is one room, linked to the bathroom. And the second room is open, it's the area where you go down the stairs. Then you have to cross the closed room to get to the bathroom. And the last two guests have to sleep in the living room.
Stefan is a really nice host, available and gives a lot of good tips.
Thanks a lot!
My friends and I (6 persons total) stayed here for 6 days during Oktoberfest. Accommodations are always in high demand during this time of year, so we were lucky to find this. The owner was very helpful in showing us around the apartment and pointing us to how to get around the neighborhood.
Baadercafe is two doors down. This place has delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Frauenhoferstrasse is the closes stop for tram, U-bahn(underground rail). There really isn't a need to have a car here, but if you do (like we did), street parking is tough and cost 6 Euro per day, which you have to pay daily. The better option is a parking garage that is a few blocks away at Baaderstrasse 6.
The apartment is very spacious and clean with all of the amenities that my travel buddies and I needed. There is a fancy home automation system which controls the lights and window shutters.
The shower is downstairs in the master bathroom which one accesses through the master bedroom. If you don't require too much privacy this should be okay. I must say that the master bathroom is gigantic and quite fancy. It reminds me a Las Vegas hotel suite bathroom complete with both a shower and tub.
The kitchen was very nice with all new appliances. The refrigerator is large (by German standards). This really helped us feel at home. One of the double beds is located in the living room, next to a gigantic couch (which could easily sleep a couple more people).
Overall, I was very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay there again.
The apartment in right in the heart of the city close to both the S and U Bahn. Most of the central city sights are within walking distance. Shops and restaurants are near by. You will have no need for a car, but if you have one reserved parking can be arranged. Street parking is hard to come by.
While the apartment wasn't quite done with its renovation when we stayed, it is a fabulous space. It is a surprisingly large and quiet flat. We are a family of four and there was plenty of space for us, all our luggage, and room to spare. There are two double beds, one and a half bathrooms, a large living room (with a hammock), large dining area, and a full kitchen. The living areas are upstairs while the sleeping quarters are downstairs. The stairs are a bit tricky for little ones, but there was a child gate available.
There were some initial problems with the WiFi, but the owner addressed them quickly and after that the WiFi was rock solid and responsive.
We would stay here again if we get the opportunity.
Very good place to stay in Munich.
We were 6 adults and we stayed 3 nights.
The appartment location is perfect and allowed us to be quickly in the city center.
I strongly recommend it !
The apartment is located in the heart of downtown about 4 minutes away from the German Museum. For the Isar Gate Square, offers its historic city walls, a gate to the former Old Town is within walking distance as fast as the Sendlinger-Tor-Platz, with its historic city gate to the south and the same shopping street. The Gardener Place with his eponymous theater space is 3 minutes from the town house away within walking distance to get on the Reichenbachroad with many trendy boutiques and cafes and after 200m to the world-famous Viktualienmarket. From then on, they are practically in the center at Marienplatz, the Town Hall or the Maximilian Street for shopping, at the Opera Square, Odeon Square to marvel, courtyard garden of the Residence. The newly-naturalized Isar with its many recreational opportunities where Munich can relax and unwind, can be reached at 200 m by foot, from where they come in a short time walk to the zoo
