Great spot in Kamala
My husband and I were so fortunate to have found this lovely retreat in the heart of Kamala. We loved out bungalow and the peace and privacy of the pool and garden just outside our door. The place is compact but is an absolute study in how to make a small area convenient, comfortable with everything and all the space one really needs. Everything is modern, amazingly clean and comfortable both inside and outdoors. In particular, we enjoyed our time with Manfred and Pranom. They are the most marvellous hosts and made us feel very much at home during our 9 day stay. Pranom's breakfasts were fantastic and we also had some great dinner-time meals there as well. They even took us on a half day tour of Phuket area where we saw many parts of Phuket that tourists never see - all for a very modest price and in a way where we were travelling as friends. We had a great time. The location in Kamala is also perfect. It is a very short walk to the beach and to the local restaurants, shops etc. We had some great Thai meals in the local restaurants. The beach area is great for swimming and lounging....a delight. And if you want more action it is only a few kilometres to Patong and all that area has to offer. We chose this place from the pictures and descriptions and they are totally accurate. We could not have been happier with our stay and would highly recommend staying with Manfred and Pranom for a restful and pleasant stay.
