From the nearest villages with paved road there are 2000 meters sandy path to the Quinta do Carragoissal. Partly embedded in a gentle and sometimes massive hills in the heart of Portugal is the Quinta. Despite modern comfort and cosiness, the House completed in 2010, blends harmoniously into the landscape. The little river that limits the Quinta on one side, the large trees in the middle of granite rocks dip in the summer heat and offer countless possibilities of discovery for children as for adults. A nature's playground, where can new strength for everyday life. The adapted the ancient rock sunny terrace with a wood burning oven provides resting places and loads of long, warm summer evenings for a meal and a chat. From the nearest paved road, there are 2000 meters sandy path to Quinta do Carragoissal. Thus, the Quinta has a very quiet location. By car, you are in one hour on the coast of the Atlantic. The old towns of Viseu (40 km), the University of Coimbra (70 km), Porto (160 km) and Lisbon (280 km) invite you to linger and stroll. Reachable in just 40 minutes, the Serra da Estrela. The mountains are the ideal place to hike up to 2000 meters, where you can enjoy the magnificent Bergpanaorama and can recover. And AVO (20 km), you can in the beautiful waters of the Rio Alva enjoy a wonderful day at the beach at the edge of the old village. Coja is also there for swimming and romping in their natural water park, for children and adults have a right adventure playground. Next beaches along the river Alva can always discover neus. Each village is different, every beach is different, everywhere the water to swim well.
