Delightful old school house in the Portes du Soleil. Traditional alpine village of Abondance Converted summer 2005. Large living room with open fire and modern well equipped kitchen. Central heating. Five double/twin bedrooms with 3 luxury bathrooms (one en suite). Less than 1km to village with local ski lifts, shops and restaurants. Fantastic family home ideal for winter sports and summer activities.10 minutes to Linga lift into the 650km skiing in the Portes du Soleil.

The old school house is in the charming village of Abondance which lies within the massive Portes du Soleil ski area (Chatel, Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets etc) It has its own skiing - excellent for families and we are told brilliant off piste There is a regular and frequent ski bus from the Abondance station to Chapelle Abondance, 10 minutes away, which provides a direct link into the whole Portes du Soleil area. The house is 500 metres from the centre of the village with excellent walking and ski du fond right outside the front door. The village has artisan baker, butcher, two small supermarkets, restaurants and bars as well as a number of ski hire shops. Calais
