Extras: sheets and towels, bathroom(towel)totally redecorated and redone in 2007. You will find tourist documentation, games and seasonal decoration.
Optional : baby kit (foldable bed and chair). Hiking kit (maps,hiking sticks,thermofask).
Sweet interior, well-lit,well-organized. Furnished kitchen( raclette set, fondue set, ceramic hob, beautiful plates).
Location : in a green holiday resort in the Vosges Parc from the Ballons d'Alsace mountains, famous for its setting, a quiet, energy-building area, rich fauna ).The chalet is located on a quiet road in a lovely country setting( a brook flows at the back of the chalet ), beautiful panorama.
Tourism: splendid starting point for visits to Alsace, well-located next to the most loved areas - between the Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle (eagle and monkey mountain) and Ribeauvillé, the wine road( picturesque villages),less than 10 kms away; between Sélestat(Humanist Library, flower floats) and Colmar( historical districts, Unterlinden museum,at a 20mn's drive ; between Obernai, Ste Odile Mount and Strasbourg ( north) and Europapark Theme Park in Germany and the Ecomuseum and Bioscope, next to Mulhouse ( south )and its famous museums( vintage cars,train, printed cotton museum ),all that within an hour's drive.
Leisure : numerous seasonal festivals ( ancient music in Ribeauvillé, patchwork exhibition in Ste-Marie aux Mines, grape harvest festival, christmas markets...
Sports : children's play park at 300 yards, adventure park (25 mn), skiing or golf course(35mn),...swimming-pool and casino in Ribeauvillé.
