Our local beaches are: Carvoeiro, Senhora da Rocha & Armacao these are all fishing villages with amply restaurants offering wonderful Portuguese fish dishes brought from the fishing boats each day. Both Carvoeiro and Armacao are small towns with many nightclubs, bars, restaurants, shops and banks, the fashionable Algarve Shopping Mall can be found in Gale (15 minutes away) and is open till 11.00pm.

There is, Tennis, Gym, Beauty/massage, lots of good restaurants, Clay pigeon shooting club, horseriding, Zoo Marine, Slide and Splash, all within a short distance.
Drive for 30 minutes and you could be in the Monchique mountains or visiting the Spa, on the west coast surfing beach or on the most westerly tip of Europe, Cape St Vincent.
There are safari trips, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the surrounding area whilst the possibility of being driven to the Monchique mountains or Alte for lunch. The Monchique mountain is the highest point of the Algarve, you will pass through little villages seeing the shepherds in the fields with their sheep & goats, you will get the real feel of the Portuguese way of living & you may sample the local specialties such as goats cheese and olives picked by the farmers.

If its golf you love, you'll be spoilt for choice! This is Europe's foremost golfing destination where you will find in excess of 20 golf courses along the Algarve. The nearest ones being here in Silves, plus Val do Pinta and Gramacho. Pestana at Carvoeiro (international course) Pinta an 18 hole course and Vale de Milho's 9 hole course. Golf of Morgado a championship golf course which lies on the lower slopes of the Monchique Mountains.
