Scheveningen is a seaside resort town in the Netherlands. In the summer months you can sunbathe on the beach or stroll along the beach promenade. In winter you can experience the raw elements of wind and sea. There are also many cultural and shopping, then drink a cup of hot chocolate in one of the pubs.
The house is located a few minutes walk from the beach and the promenade in Scheveningen, the seaside resort of The Hague. In the immediate vicinity of the studios you will find the 'Muzee' (Museum of the fishing village of Scheveningen), Sculpture Museum 'Beelden aan Zee' and the Circus Theatre (musicals).
Nearby there are beaches with more than 70 trendy clubs (Scheveningen-Bad), sports areas with a beach volleyball stadium and surf schools (Scheveningen harbor), and quiet beaches with gulls, nudist areas and plenty of space to hang (Scheveningen Noorderstrand ).
The Kurhaus, the pier and the old town (shopping area Keizerstraat) are around the corner. It is 15 minutes to the historic center of The Hague and 10 minutes to Statenkwartier (World Forum), the harbor and the dunes.
