Only about 10 kilometers away from the beautiful east coast of southern Sweden 'Prästlycke' is - a collection of scattered houses built on the edge. Here you can soak up the midst of nature new strength and let your mind wander! A few kilometers away there are some beautiful stretches of beach (sandy beach) and about 30 km away is the interesting town of Kalmar. Its proximity to the E22, this place is a good starting point for excursions in all directions. The 'Island of the Sun' Oland is easily reached via a causeway from Kalmar. Oland has a very interesting nature (the limestone steppe Alvar, beautiful sandy beaches, 'Troll Forest'). Here you can find also lighthouses, castle ruins, an animal park and the summer residence of the royal family, whose park is open. Kalmar can breathe city air, there are excellent shopping facilities in the town. There's a castle, a yacht harbor and museums. The Tourist offers Internet access. A visit to the famous glass factories in the 'Kingdom of Crystal' is also highly recommended. Here you can watch the glass blowers on the shoulders and glass handicrafts shop. The 'Kingdom of Crystal' is worth seeing elk park, where you can see moose up close. The theme park 'Astrid Lindgren's World' in Vimmerby, about 160 km away, is as day excursion yet easily accessible and a must for families! Welcome to our typical Swedish, small red wooden house alone in nature - 'Prästlycke' is an ideal place for children. You can happily run around in the woods and explore it. Our house has no direct neighbors.
