Our family rented this unit for 2 1/2 weeks and it was far better than advertised. The layout, furniture, decor, and view made the apartment feel like home and it was much more spacious than we'd anticipated. The kitchen had almost everything you could need - enough for us to prepare and serve Thanksgiving dinner for eight. It was immaculately clean and had all the necessary supplies on hand to maintain. The grill and bicycles were a nice touch and our daughter loved being able to get close to the horses and cows at the property immediately across the paved walking trail just outside the door. The TV's included HD channels and the internet worked very well. Additionally, the owners were always accessible and returned calls and e-mails promptly when we inquired about reservations, during our stay, and upon our departure to ensure our deposit was promptly returned. (They were also kind enough to meet us at the unit at 2 a.m. on the day of our arrival so that we could get settled.)
The location is close enough to the resorts to make them easily accessible but far enough away that you can relax and escape the traffic and crowds. Daytona and other beaches are a straight shot and only 40 minutes away. There are restaurants everywhere, a Walgreen's across the street, and Winn-Dixie, Publix, and Target all within 1 mile. Even with so much at hand, the location of the unit makes it feel secluded and quiet.
If this unit is available, I will absolutely rent it again and again. We were thrilled with the unit and the remarkable service the owners provided. We personally thanked them for making us feel like invited guests and not renters.
