2 people, silence, beauty, nature, sea, on the hills of Tropea and Capo Vaticano

If you need a relaxing holiday in nature, you find a jewel here. It is a peaceful and quite place. If you are looking for this, this is your place. We are on the hills between Tropea (4 km) and Capo Vaticano. What is extraordinary in the suite for 2 people in Casa Meraviglia is the beauty of nature, the wide horizon, the fantastic view on the ocean with sunset in front of the house, (you see Sicily, two volcanos, Etna and Stromboli, Eolian Islands), the silence and the peaceful atmosphere. The house is new built (2010) in the characteristic shape of the old farmhouses of Calabria, but with all the comforts you need. Internet and heating.

The big bedroom (20 sq.meters) has a direct door into the gorgeous garden and 1 comfortable private bathroom with shower. Kitchen. The suite is a part of the villa where the owner lives. There are four big white dogs very friendly.

6 ha land with 700 Olive trees, palms and pine trees. There is a own oil press, we make organic oil in october.

It was a wondertime spent at the beginnin of March at Elena's farm.

The building, the sight is beautiful, peaceful, a great place to relax or think over your problems. Beautiful yellow flowers all around in the grass or at the mimosa-trees...

The season was great too: we could have nice sunbath, not too cold, not too warm.
The dogs were indeed friendly and avoiding contact with guests.

Tropea is close by car, the seashore is just fabulous.
Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your review. It was great indeed having you here. You can find these yellow flowers (oxalis pes-caprae is the latin name, or acetosella in italian or Sauerklee in german) during winter and spring. Yellow and green are the color of february, march, and april.
In these months, if it is not raining and the sun is shining, you think you are in a different world while in Central and Northern Europe it is really cold and often with snow.
Here in Calabria there are flowers...
