Costa Teguise, a relaxed holiday resort on the south east coast of Lanzarote, is ideally situated for all the island's main attractions, and within easy reach of Arrecife International airport. Being within easy walking distance of Las Cucharas Beach, considered to be the best beach in Costa Teguise with soft golden sand, It is perfect for a family holiday in the summer, or for a relaxing sunshine holiday in the spring or winter. There is plenty to do apart from the beach - sightseeing, wine-tasting; sports include mountain biking, scuba diving, wind-surfing, sailing, golf, swimming, etc. The island of Lanzarote is a photographer's paradise, unspoilt by high-rise buildings, so the character of the island has not been lost. It is truly unique.

    Changeover day is a Thursday, but we will always try to be flexible if a different day is required.
    Please note that this is NOT an apartment, but a full two-storey house with own gardens! Short breaks will be considered.
  • Deposit of 20% secures, with balance due one month before departure.
    Payment can be made by deposit to our UK bank account, or by cheque if preferred.
    Secure Payment can be made by debit/credit card at 3% supplement.
  • Discount on three weeks or more.

The Island: Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands lying off the coast of West Africa, enjoys a wonderful sub-tropical year-round climate. Even January boasts an average daily temperature of around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, with summer highs made comfortable by a moderating breeze. The stunning volcanic scenery makes Lanzarote uniquely beautiful.

What to Do?: How about a visit to Timanfaya National Park, El Golfo, Jameos del Agua with its subterranean lake and volcanic cave concert hall? How about a visit to the Cactus Gardens, or the Tropical Bird Park, or the Aquapark, or Go-Karts, or a round of golf, or ........ or just relax in the shade with a cool beer ........ the choice is yours!! There are excellent scuba diving, windsurfing, and snorkelling schools in the area. Bike hire nearby.

Culture: Much of Lanzarote's culture revolves around Cesar Manrique, the world renowned artist and architect, and it is thanks to him that the island has not been spoiled by high-rise buildings and over-development, as several of the other Canary Islands have been. Attractions include the Manrique House, the Cactus Gardens, and the Campesino. Small sun soaked white houses and cottages stand out starkly amongst the grape vines on the volcanic landscape. Vineyards and palm trees abound. Lovers of classical music will enjoy concerts in traditional Canarian buildings. Please contact Dena or Michael Emerson for current details. There are performances of Flamenco, traditional Canarian music (very different from Spanish) and pop concerts. Every village or town has its own fiesta with exciting activities and carnival parades.

Costa Teguise is a excellent base location for a holiday on Lanzarote. We were so pleased to have chosen this villa within the resort. Very comfortable accommodation, in a great location, and with a fantastic pool. Situated near to everything you need for a great relaxing holiday. And, only a few minutes walk to the lovely Las Chucharas beach.
All this and excellent customer service provided by owners Dena and Michael, we would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday villa, and look forward to a return visit.

We have stayed at this lovely villa many times now, & each time has been great, it is always very clean,the gardens are beautiful & a lovely welcome from the owners Dena & Michael. The pool is huge if a bit cold but our children love it. Everything is within walking distance, good restaurants, supermarket, & of course the fantastic Las Cucharas beach. Already planning are next vist. Elaine & Paul.
