Northland House Rental Photos and Description
2 bedrooms + bathrooms, 2 min from an almost private swimming beach, bush walks
From Aimeo Cottage, you will have a spectacular view of the Veronica Chanel and Waitangi with the Treaty Ground and the golf course.
This holiday home has 2 comfortable bedrooms with their respective double bathrooms, located in the upper part of the house. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable living area with bookshelves, a TV, a DVD player, a video, and a stereo unit.
From here and from the master bedroom, you can see the sail boats coming from and go to Paihia and Russell, the store from the international marina Opua. Sometimes, dolphins can be seen from the breakfast table. The master bedroom is equipped with 2 king beds that you can be transformed into a super king bed. The second bedroom has en-suite bathrooms, 2 king beds, and garden view.
It is completely separated at the bottom of the studio and usually inhabited by me.
I will be pleased and able to welcome you.
For golfers: generally and especially here in the north of New Zealand, there are almost deserted golf courses, so no waiting or registrations are necessary. There are about 10 'green fees' around us (a half day trip).
I have 2 sets available for my guests.
Seglersparadies: The Bay of Islands with its 144 islets beat sailor. Sail boats can be rented per day or week. It is similar to the dinghies available in Russell and Opua.
If you do not want or cannot sail by yourself, there are daily trips, with modern sailing boats, monohull, Catamaran, Trimaran, or the traditional vintage 'Tucker Thompson.'
You will enjoy the famous the 'Cream Trip' and 'Hole in the Rock' trip with good comments and sightseeing on the sea.
Hiking and Maori culture: There are many short and more challenging trails (Bush Walks) located in the immediate vicinity.
In Waitangi (New Zealand birthplace, you will find the Treaty House, in which the Maoris people, in 1842, passed the land to the English people). You can learn a lot about the Maori culture, the Treay House, and large war canoe.
In an evening, Maori dances are performed, and typical Erofen food is served.
