This is a great two-floor apartment only 30 yards from El Cabezo beach! The spacious apartment is on the ground floor and has a 50 m2 terrace with own direct entrance from beach side and is great for relaxing, sunbathing or eating outside. Downstairs is the living area with two sofas, the dining area with table for 6, and a separated fully fitted kitchen- both with double glass doors with sea views - there is also a toilet with shower. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms – all with sea views and the main bathroom. Outside, on the other side of the apartment is a shared swimming pool and private parking for one car. Within 5 minutes walk you have the lovely El Medano's town centre with fantastic local restaurant, bars, shops. A few steps further you have the lovely Playa Sur, with nice sands and more sheltered from the wind and waves.

El Medano is a great small friendly town which offers an array of excellent shops, bars & restaurants. Eating and shopping here is a delight. It is very safe for children. It also offers great evening entertainment for adults and children. El Medano is known as the windsurfing capital of Tenerife and used to host the world championships. The apartment is 30 meters away from the main Cabezo windsurfing launching spot! For those of you who love to golf there are several golf courses for you to choose from and all within a 10 minute drive. There are many scenic paths nearby, ideal for a leisurely evening stroll, or a brisk walk. These paths are also excellent for biking and there is a good bike hire/tours shop in town. The Tenerife South (Reina Sofia) Airport is a 10 minute drive away. A taxi should cost under 15 euros.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 50% deposit is required in advance to confirm your booking. The rest of the rental cost must be paid in cash (Euros) on arrival. Also a 100 Euros safety deposit will be required on arrival. The safety deposit will be returned at the end of the stay as long as the flat is left in same conditions as it was found (you need not worry about washing the linen).
  • CANCELATION POLICY: Should you wish to cancel the booking, you must do so within 30 days of the start of the rental period. A cancellation charge of 20% of the booking deposit will apply.

Notes: This is a superb place for water sports enthusiasts!!! But only suitable for the mature, non-partying type as the neighbours enjoy their tranquillity. It is ideal for 6 people. Two rooms have double beds, the third has two single beds (safe bunk-bed).

Windsurfers and Kite surfers!!: If you are planning to take your equipment, you can store it on the terrace in the storage box. However, we recommend that you hire equipment in Cabezo Beach (Fanatic centre 'Fun Factory') if you like waves, or if you prefer windsurfing in flatter conditions you can hire from South Beach ('Surf Center Playa Sur') or the new Official Test Centre (see their websites)!!! If you are taking windsurfing equipment, expect to pay around 40 Euros for a one-way taxi from the airport and remember the new strict weight regulations for airlines!
