NEW SWIMMING POOL:
The development has recently undergone major improvement works which provides, when open, an additional 3-pool swimming complex and sun terrace overlooking the beach. The new pool complex is located immediately outside this property and is a magnificent addition to the existing facilities, providing spectacular views across the pool complex and beach along the coast to Gibraltar and Morocco. In addition, the original large swimming pool has been upgraded and improved, with the provision of more sun-loungers and safety features. There are beautiful and spectacular sunsets which can be seen while sipping drinks or cocktails on the sun terrace (see photos). You can even get up and enjoy beautiful sunrises from the eastern horizon, and on very clear days, the mountainous coastline of North Africa can clearly be seen stretching away eastwards from the Straits of Gibraltar!
Local Restaurants and Facilities:
There is a wealth of good restaurants to suit all tastes, wine bars and beach bars.
There are a number of good supermarkets in Estepona and in the nearby village of Sabinillas. A short walk along the blue flag beach from the apartment are steps up to a small store selling basic provisions, wines and beers and newspapers etc.
3km along the coast is the upmarket port of Duquesa with its luxurious yachts and sailing boats surrounded by shops restaurants and bars. Beautiful unspoiled Estepona has a lovely old town with winding cobble streets and lots of interesting little shops, bars etc. there is also the wonderful promenade stretching the entire length of the town and serving a long sandy beach with beach bars, beach beds and umbrellas and changing facilities, showers etc.
Don't forget to visit the open air markets at Sabinillas and Estepona!
Golf:
20 top quality golf courses are within a 30 minute drive (6 courses within 6 minutes!) including Valderrama (1999 host of Ryder Cup)
Superb all year round climate with winter temperatures averaging 60degrees F (16degrees C) is ideal for golfing breaks and Casares Del Mar is right in the middle of the 'Costa Del Golf'
