MotoGP - Ricardo Tormo Race Circuit: The race circuit is only a 10-minute drive from the villa and hosts various motor sports, the best-known being the finale of the MotoGP season. The normally tranquil local town of Cheste holds a wild 4-day fiesta, where bikers from all over the world come to party and watch the racing. The fiesta has to be seen and heard to be believed - an atmosphere like no other. Formula 1 testing also takes place at the circuit at various times during the year. For these reasons, the villa is popular with both motor sport enthusiasts, as well as those actively taking part in the racing themselves.

Fiestas!: 'La Tomatina' - on the last or penultimate Wednesday in August, this is a frenzied but cheerful tomato-throwing festival that has gained a worldwide reputation. 'Las Fallas' - a wonderful and wild fiesta that runs between 15 and 19 March. There are round-the-clock celebrations for the whole 4 days including street parties, world beating firework displays (day and night!), parades, open-air concerts and bullfights. Valencia considers itself the pyrotechnic capital of the world and this is when you find out why! The Fallas themselves are spectacular huge statues built by local artists on behalf of their local areas and displayed throughout the city centre. Just after midnight on the last day of Fallas the statues go up in flames. Other fiestas - there are too many to list individually, but all towns throughout the Valencia region have there own fiestas and these can be regular affairs with fireworks, parades, bull running and lots of eating and drinking into the early hours.

Valencia / Americas Cup / F1 Grand Prix: Valencia has numerous world-class museums, including the stunning City of Arts and Sciences complex (designed by Santiago Calatrava), which includes Europe´s largest aquarium and the eye-catching opera house. There is also the world-renowned IVAM modern art museum. The city is compact enough to mean all its attractions are within walking distance once you are there, so be sure to set aside at least a day to experience these. The city centre has many attractive palm-lined boulevards, beautiful historic buildings and designer boutiques. In 2007, Valencia held the Americas Cup sailing competition, which was a huge success. The winners, Alinghi of Switzerland, have chosen to defend their trophy in Valencia again, although the date for the competition has not yet been set. From 2008, Valencia will be hosting the annual 'Mediterranean Grand Prix', which will take place on a specially designed street circuit around the harbour at the end of August. Golf: The villa is situated about 20 minutes drive El Bosque golf course and 40 minutes from El Saler golf course. These are both fantastic golf courses and the facilities are second-to-none. The El Bosque Golf Club is perfectly located a short drive from the villa. It was opened in 1975 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. who has designed some of the world's best golf courses. As a result of this, the club has hosted some of the most important international championships such as the Open 'El Bosque' (Volvo Tour) , the Mediterranean Open, the PGA senior of the European PGA and the Queens Cup.
