Translocation: The listed former Heuer house was built from June to December 2010 new. It was mined at the old location and now at the new place up again. The supporting timbers of the building of 1530 are so well preserved that they could be reused for the most part. Otherwise the house is the same as a new building. There have been insulated floors, walls, windows and roofs installed to achieve the highest possible comfort. The requirements of energy-saving regulations fall below 20%. To heat an environmentally friendly geothermal heating for the floor heating and hot water is installed.
Our holiday house in the Artländer park is located in close proximity to about 160 m away from our listed farm Sick man. There are already in a separate building with 2 apartments together max. Sleeps 12. Both houses form a harmonic complex, the play barn on the farm Sick man can be shared. The Court Sickmann and the new house have a very good connection to the B68. They are in sight, but still a sufficient distance and isolated from this main artery of the Artland. Thus a good transport connections to the A1 motorway, but also guaranteed to the tourist attractions in the area. Also located on the B68 bus stop just 300 m away from the farm. Furthermore, the Court is part of the cycle route Sickmann gable tour.
