Peaceful family holiday

Myself, my partner and our twelve year old son had a lovely, peaceful time in this beautiful accommodation with fantastic views over olive groves. Being familiar with the island but less so with this particular area it was exciting to discover new places and experiences.
The property was pristine, two bedrooms and open plan lounge/kitchen. Nice additional features that made the stay more pleasant like nets on all windows/doors to allow a nice breeze but keep little creatures out.
Perfectly reasonable pool with steps down rather than ladder as in some properties, made for relaxing days spent reading soaking up the sun followed by a cooling dip.
The owners, Hans and Christine, who live in an adjacent property, were extremely friendly and hospitable but also left you to your own devices. Hans drove to find us when we got lost finding the property (it's not hard to find by the way) on our arrival - and it was after 12 at night!!
Restaurants available in the locality both near and slightly further away. A great evening of Greek folk music at nearby Mochlos is recommended (and we're not great fans of Folk music).
All in all a super week in an enchanting area with lots of places to explore both country and the busier cities of Irapetra and Agios Nicholias.
We hope to return next year.
