Cortona Vacation Rental farmhouse: Cortona

We spent the first three weeks of May at Il Bozzino. It's a very old farmhouse that has been converted into two apartments. Ours was on the ground floor. The house has been modernized with two nice size bathrooms. The kitchen is very tiny, but workable. The living area was large, but there was not enough comfortable seating. The house was very clean and maid service was provided each week with all linens & towels changed and a through cleaning was done. The location was very nice. It was less than a ten minute drive to Cortona or Cumucia. Michele owns the properties and was very informative in getting us information we needed when we were renting the place. He proved to be outstanding in the services he provided. We arrived by train on a Sunday and could not get our rental car until Monday. There were six of us, and when we called him from the train station he made two trips to pick us up and take us to the farm house. Not only that, since we couldn't shop for food and did not have a car, he had his sister pick us up and take us to their restaurant and return us back to the house that evening. One of the most enjoyable experiences was the cooking class that mama Donatella has each week. We attended two different sessions and both were excellent. I would highly recommend doing the cooking class. The location of the house is very good to take day trips to a lot of different areas. It is not a luxury house, but it was not advertised that way. They have taken care to retain the character of how the house was originally. We found the country side to be very enjoyable. The local rooster does wake you up fairly early. We will recommend this place to our friends, and would go back ourselves.
