Standing only 4,5 k.m. away from Almirida beach, in the village of Drapanos, you will find this wonderfully furnished secluded villa. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The private sun drenched pool (35 sq.m) at the rear is suitable for children as it has an indegral children's pool. The terrace by the pool is suitable for evening BBQs, overlooking the stunning view of the Souda Bay. At the ground floor, you will find the sunlit living room, the full-fitted kitchen and a WC. On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own balcony and there is also a veranda (8 sq.m) ideal for a lovely dinner, overlooking the mountains and the sea. You will also find a bathroom with shower room. On the second floor, in the eaves of the house, there is a private lounge and one more twin bedroom with a veranda that has a breathtaking view as well. It is air- conditioned.

The villa is located at the beautiful village of Drapanos (opposite the church), 4, 5 k.m. away from Almirida beach. Transfer time from airport is about 35min and from Chania about 30 min. Drapanos is an unspoilt, peaceful and picturesque village. The village has panoramic view! Near to the property (approximately 200 m.) you will find some taverns and a mini market, while in the nearby villages Plaka and Vamos there are more facilities. Almirida with its golden beaches is the ideal base for those who wish to visit the area. It also has a variety of shops, bars etc. The surrounding area, with picturesque villages, lovely beaches, and historical sites consists one of the most worth to visit areas in the island of Crete. Kera, Plaka, Kambia, and Kokkino Horio are some of the most renowned and unforgettable places to the numerous friends. You can enjoy a peaceful walk under the shadow of the olive trees and pictures of pastorals and agriculture sites of life Walk around the area.

  • The prices refer to the villa itself and not to each person individually. They include all the facilities that are described on the advertisement, such as cleaning service, the usage of air-condition and pool etc.

  • A deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking. The balance can be paid at your arrival at the villa. Security deposit for damages is not demanded.

We would like to thank you and your family for our wonderful stay in Markos Villa! The villa is really lovely - it was really comfortable, and practical, and with such fantastic views of the countryside and mountains.
The village and landscape around the villa are stunningly beautiful. And the food that your mother cooked for us was delicious - we enjoyed it enormously, and having such beautiful home-made food prepared for us made the week very relaxing for me in particular. It was also a wonderful surprise that the villa was cleaned for us half way through our stay.
Thank you, too, for the lovely toys that you bought for the children. They really enjoyed their stay. We were all very sad to leave. We would very much like to stay in Markos Villa again, and will keep in touch with you.

We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Markos. It was attractive, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The pool was very welcome in the hot weather and the garden was pretty. The location was peaceful and beautiful, with lovely views of both mountains and sea. Getting up in the morning was a real pleasure. The village of Drapanos is very friendly with a good local shop. The local beach town - Almyrida - is very attractive and not far away by car.

Best of all, was the care we received from the Artemis family. They were all extremely friendly and kind and nothing was too much trouble. They added those little extras that made our holiday perfect.
