A luxurious quiet ground floor apartment arranged over two floors within a chalet with stunning mountain views. Fully furnished.
On ground floor: sitting room with log-burning fire, modern kitchen, twin bedroom and bathroom. Stairs down to bedroom with four beds and bathroom, leading to underground garage. Tastefully furnished. Colour flat screen TV, DVD, CD/cassette player, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer, ski room. The apartment is on the corner of the south facing chalet and the front door and side door lead out onto a pretty terrace and lawned garden with breath taking views over snow covered mountains. There is a covered assigned underground parking place in the chalet basement. The bus stop is a 2 min walk away, and a 4 min ride to the Medran lifts. A 5 min walk is the sports centre with its indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, tennis and squash courts and ice rink. There are 2 mountain bikes for summer use.
Because the apartment is arranged over two floors, it is ideal for a party of either two couples (one with children), or a family with max four children. The lower bedroom has twin beds and two 'couchette' style beds, with a large bathroom, and its own door which leads to either the garage or front door. This means that children can make their own noise downstairs without disturbing grown-ups upstairs!
I live in London and bought this charming apartment because my son and I love to ski and we enjoy mountain biking in the summer.

Verbier is the best place to ski!
The USP of our apartment is that it is very close to Verbier (a 7 minute walk or 2 minute bus ride) yet it feels very rural. The chalet is set back off the road so there are few traffic sounds, and all you can hear in summer are cowbells and a babbling stream! In winter it is a 2 minute walk with skis to the bus stop.
We arrived pre-ski season for hiking and relaxing. The chalet has incredible views of the Swiss Alps and is close to central Verbier and many hiking trails. We hiked out to St "Christophe Chappel" which is a nice easy hike into the mountains. The chalet sleeps at least 6 comfortably and is well equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy. TV, DVD player with movies, a wood fireplace with logs already cut and ready to burn. Verbier and the lifts are a short walk into town. In Verbier you will find many wonderful places to eat and shop. We went for the preseason hiking and just totally disconnected from work and the world, awesome spot.
Verbier is situated at 1500m and the highest pistes are over 3000m on the Mont Fort glacier. The chalet is in a quiet location at the beginning of the Rue de Patiers, close to the Montpelier Hotel and the Sports Centre. Verbier centre is walkable, and there are frequent buses to ski lifts and resort centre. The bus stop is very close to the chalet. The bus ride to the lifts takes 5 minutes.
Verbier has skiing to suit all abilities with a ski school, many well groomed pistes, and superb off-piste runs and climbs for the energetic. It has a lively apres ski and night life a walkable distance away.
Summer too! Verbier now offers much more than snow and skiing, appealing to lovers of classical music, mountain-bikers, golfers, ice skaters, walkers, tennis players, para-gliders and those who just like to relax on the chalet terrace and breathe pure mountain air. Verbier also provides a base from which many exciting excursions can be taken, such as Italy which is only an hour's drive.
