Spacious, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (sleeps 4-5), private courtyard

Situated in the Mato Serrao part of Carvoeiro, just one and half kilometres north west of the picturesque and highly popular resort centre, Vila Nova is an attractive, well maintained, low rise collection of thirty six apartments built in older, more traditional Portuguese style.

2C is a ground floor apartment & has a spacious living/dining room with TV & DVD (please bring your own DVDs), fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one double, one twin) & two bathrooms (one en-suite). At the rear of the apartment is an enclosed private courtyard with patio furniture & BBQ. To the front of the apartment is an informal enclosed area with table and seating. Additional single z-bed, cot, high chair can be provided on request. The living room also has a wood-burning stove (for the cooler winter months).

Ideal for family holidays, Vila Nova has a grassy children`s play area, a large inviting swimming pool plus a kids paddling pool, pool table, restaurant & snack bar, mini-market and reception.

The Vila Nova restaurant is excellent and reputed for its fresh fish.

I'd like to say what a wonderful holiday we had. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 4,7 and 10 and it was a perfect holiday for us all.

The appartment is the most spacious we have ever stayed in, equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. We weren't expecting the maid service which really made it a luxury holiday for me!

The children made friends with other families and everyone there was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The shop and its fresh bread for breakfast is a bonus, and having the best fish restaurant in the whole resort on your doorstep is amazing.

We managed to do the week without hiring a car, and for us the only disadvantage was a slightly unreliable local taxi service, but soon realised that if booked through the reception, the taxis turned up on time.

I can't recommend the villa, the 'complex' or the resort enough. We will definitely be back soon!!

'It was our first time in Portugal and we weren't disappointed it was fantastic family holiday with plenty to do in the area. We chose not to hire a car and didn't regret that decision as driving and parking in Carvoeiro was not the easiest. Plenty of lovely beaches and restaurants in walking distance. The Apartment was superb ,with everything you could possibly need for a holiday base and a lot more including satellite TV !! So much so that we booked for next year the day we got home'. FANTASTIC SIZED APARTMENT IN GREAT LOCATION

We have just returned from a week here and it was fabulous! The apartment is very spacious and well equipped; washing machine, dishwasher etc. The owners have really made this a home from home with excellent information on the surrounding area. The terrace was ideal for evenings in with a BBQ and large table and chairs. The complex is lovely, with a great pool and comfy sunloungers - always a must! The restaurant serves beautiful food and the location is good. About a 10 minute walk in, 15 minutes back up a few hills, but nothing we couldn't manage with our toddler! The town itself is lovely, with lots of restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend the walk from the town to Algor Seco, a bar/restaurant set in the cliffs and made easily accessible with a buggy with the new boardwalk. I would highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful holiday!

GREAT HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

This property was very well appointed with everything we needed. The property is in a lovely complex with a well maintained communal area, play park and pool. The on site restaurant was the best we ate in during the holiday. The villa was clean, spacious and well organised. There was extra bedding for the colder nights and plenty of towels. I Would certainly recommend this villa and hope to go back myself as soon as possible

SPACIOUS, COMFORTABLE, WELL SITUATED APARTMENT

A well appointed apartment on the pleasant well established Vila Nova complex, walking distance to Carvoeiro, but only a short drive to several other beautiful local beaches and attractions. Supermarkets also a short drive away. The Vila Nova shop was closed when we stayed in April, not sure if that was just a seasonal thing. The restaurant on site is well worth a visit.
The apartment is well presented, well maintained, clean and well equipped. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely book again. The only thing missing for me would be internet access, but that may not be a requirement for everyone.

LOVED IT

We have just returned from the Vila Nova and can honestly say we had an absolute ball. The apartment was just what we needed for 2 couples (my wife and me and my son and his partner) and our 2-year old grandson. The complex is small and secluded, which suited us fine, but it did mean that we were glad to have a car. The staff in the on site restaurant, reception and the little shop were wonderfully friendly and full of useful advice. I hesitate to big this place up too much as I would like it to be available again when we want it! - which we certainly shall. Nonetheless, I feel I should say something about the restaurant as it truly is a hidden gem. The fresh fish in particular was extremely good although I have it on authority from the big meat eaters in the party that the spare (they didn't look that spare to me) ribs were also very good. I would also like to mention that the kiddies play area and pool were a great boon. All 5 of us had a truly wonderful time and shall return.

The journey time from Faro Airport to the Vila Nova Apartments when travelling directly by car is approx 45 minutes. We provide all guests with directions and map. Vila Nova is situated close to many safe, sandy beaches, with the local beach within walking distance. The Carvoeiro Tennis Club and the large Intermarche supermarket are just a 5-min drive away. In Carvoeiro village (15 mins walk) there is an excellent choice of local shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks, a post office plus pharmacy, doctor and dentist (although we hope you won't need these last two!). There are also several world-class 18-hole courses close by including: Carvoeiro Golf; Pinta & Gramacho. Also in Carvoiero, Vale De MIlho provides the option of the shorter 9 hole course .Fun days out for the younger ones include, Slide 'n Splash (10 min drive), Crazy Golf World & Zoo (15 min drive) & Zoomarine (20 mins drive). The sites & surf beaches of the West Coast are also within an hour's drive.

Non-refundable 25% deposit required to secure your booking. Please ensure you have travel insurance in place at time of booking in the event that you have to cancel for an insurable reason. Balance of rental payment (also non-refundable), payable 2 months prior to your arrival.  Payments accepted by bank transfer and acknowledged by email. Additional £25 per week for hire of z-bed for 5th person.
Notes Rates include gas, water and electricity used during your stay (except for winter bookings). Bathroom towels and bed linen supplied. Laundry/cleaning charges are included. Please remember to bring your own towels for use at pool or beach. WINTER BOOKINGS: gas/electricity charged per consumption. Meters will be read on your arrival/departure.
