Black Bear Lodges are where family memories are made! Located in Inlet, NY, on the shores of beautiful Fourth Lake, part of the Fulton Chain of Lakes.

SNOWMOBILERS! Black Bear Lodges are on Trail 5 and we offer seasonal lodge rentals.

Black Bear Lodges has two 5-bedroom lodges and one 4-bedroom lodge. Amenities includes gas fireplaces, cable TV and fully equipped kitchens including dishwashers. We also have washers & dryers.

Each lodge has a great view of the lake! We are known for our friendly atmosphere and clean, well maintained property. You will enjoy awesome sunsets from our dock, beach or the deck of your lodge.

There are 160 feet of sandy beach and a dock for your boat. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boat and row boat are provided free for your enjoyment. We have a wooded bonfire area overlooking the lake with firewood provided. A large grassy areas provides plenty of room for lawn games, children's play area and adult swings.

We are within walking distance to the Inlet business district and all it has to offer!

QUILTERS...Black Bear Trading Post, an Adirondack Quilt Shop, is across the road offering a large selection of Adirondack fabrics in cotton, flannel and batik.

Plenty of samples and kits available! Quilt Retreats offered at our lodges in May, June, September and October. Call for details.

LODGE RENTAL RATES:

5-bedroom Lodge $2400.00/week

spring & fall $350.00/night/2 night minimum

4-bedroom Lodge $2200.00/week

spring & fall $325.00/night/2 night minimum

SNOWMOBILE WINTER SEASONAL RENTALS

4 month ( Dec., Jan., Feb. & March )

$6500.00/season $1500.00 security deposit

Nice Place, Clean, Comfortable, But Misrepresented

The stay was very nice and the house was clean and comfortable. It was advertised as a 5 bedroom lodge and only had 4 bedrooms and 1 loft. The loft had a futon couch and no night stand, dresser or any other amenities that should be in a bedroom. The advertised price was $350/night and we were charged $375/night. I think the owners should update their web site with accurate information.

Disappointment

We stayed a week at Black Bear Lodges and very much enjoyed it, except for one thing. The listing on VRBO clearly states "Broadband access" and "Wireless broadband", and we picked it for that reason, because several people in our group needed regular access. When we got there, we discovered there was no internet, and, in fact, the owners claimed that they had never said any such thing. We would have never picked it had we known the truth - and it really bothered us that they blatantly lied about it on their listing here. Otherwise, it really was a nice place.

Family Reunion 2010

My Family held a reunion for the third year at the Black Bear Lodges and for the third year we have had a great time, been treated to great facilities, and plan to go back for our next reunion. Things that are outstanding are that the place is extreamly clean and well kept. It is within walking distance to the small comunity of Inlet which almost always has some kind of special activity going on while we are there in September.

Best Family Vacation!!!

We have gone to Black Bear Lodges for the past 3 years...and we plan on continuing to go for many years to come! There is not one thing we would change about it. Perfect location, wonderful beach and yard, beautiful lodges with all the amenities of home, family friendly atmosphere...and most of all the hosts. You will feel like you have know them for years!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
