WOW! HAVE A GREAT TIME - THE CABIN WAS VERY CLEAN & THE OWNER WAS VERY NICE &
HELPFUL TO US - WE WILL BE BACK TO STAY IN CABIN IN THE SKY - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
The cabin was wonderful, the view breathtaking, and the seclusion great. Charlene is awesome, she spoke with us about the conditions of the roads due to heavy snowfall and helped us get into the cabin which would have been impossible without her help. She is very pleasant and attentive to her guests. The cabin had everything we could ask for, well stocked, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves so much we did not leave until the day to go home. The area the cabin is in is beautiful, we took walks around the community and enjoyed the peacefulness. The cabin is situated in a perfect spot with incredible views. We will be returning, no other cabin can compare to this one.
The property is very well maintained. We visit the mountains 2 or 3 times a year so we've stayed in several cabins. This cabin by far has the best view of any where we have stayed. Charlene is great to work with. It's obvious she cares about your visit and is just as excited about sharing her cabin as you will be to get there. The only tip I can give is you pull down on the faucet in the tub to turn on the shower. It took us a little bit to figure that out. Every thing is perfect. Absolutely no complaints.
Great place to stay. I will definitely be going back. Nice, quiet, and secluded little cabin. Listing description was very accurate. Owner was very nice and answered any questions. We had turkeys in the front yard and a momma bear with two cubs in the back yard. Cabin was clean and comfy. It is close to everything so we didn't have to spend a lot of time driving.
Thank you Charlene, we will definitely be calling you again.
Our family stayed in this cabin for 7 nights in November. The cabin was even better than was described. It was clean, comfortable, cozy and just perfect for us. It is in a private location which we enjoyed. We could see one cabin in the distance, but it was still SO private. We were pleased with the fully stocked kitchen. My husband was happy to even find coffee in the cabinets! There were plenty of towels and extra sheets and blankets if needed.
We have visited the Smokies for years and enjoyed our stay in many different cabins but this one, by far, had the most wonderful view from the decks! Every morning we were amazed at the beautiful morning sky. During the day we enjoyed the view of the mountains covered with trees with all of their leaves changing into the fall colors of red, orange and beautiful yellows. Every night we were entertained by the changing colors of the new Ferris wheel lights miles down below us on the strip and the lights of Pigeon Forge. We could have stayed on that deck for hours on end enjoying the view but there were too many things waiting for us to do in the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that were both just a short drive down the mountain.
The owners were so helpful and easy to work with over the phone. We made last minute reservations and even with that, everything was handled easily. At the end of our stay, we met the owner in person. They are nice, friendly people. We will most definitely be back and have already recommended this cabin to friends. I think we have found our homeaway cabin!
I cannot express how easy everything was with Charlene. After calling around several places I was almost done with everyone's lack of customer service and the lack of accommodation, boy was I ever so surprised when Charlene answered the phone. She is amazing, and the word AMAZING doesn't do her justice. She is extremely nice, accommodating, and unlike others....you feel like you've known her for years. I instantaneously knew this is where we were staying. Check in was super-easy! LOCATION is perfect, you are nestled between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and not only that...... Charlene's place sits alone. All the other cabins usually sit right on top of each other, this one has its on turn off and drive-way which leads to a beautiful SECLUDED cabin, and boy do I mean beautiful, nothing around that area compares. We opened the door and entered, and the place is immaculate. You walk in the front door to a kitchen on your left that leads into a living area with DVD player, stoned fireplace and cable tv; and to your right of the front door sits a bathroom down a hallway. Close to the bathroom is the large bedroom with a deep Jacuzzi bath, a huge bed, and a cabletv. The living room and bedroom on that level has doors that lead out to the top deck, which has a grill, a smoker, storage, hot tub, rockers, and a VIEW YOU WON'T GET ANYWHERE ELSE, no lie (daytime-everything, night-CityLights of P.F.) In the living room there is super large windows in the top of the living room that makes for an immaculate skylight.. Up the stairs in the living room, sits a beautiful loft area with a seating area and a pool table, the pool table was used every night we were there. We have a competitive spirit about ourselves. Most everything is done in WOOD, which you would expect in a cabin, but some fail- this one does not. In the kitchen, there is a staircase that goes downstairs to a game room with skeeball, a bathroom and a futon for extra sleeping. Around the corner, you find what seems to be the master, in it: fireplace, huge Jacuzzi tub....beautiful ROOM. washer/dryer. this has a door to the bottom deck as well. On the bottom deck you have an opening to use the yard, and hot tub and rockers sit on the bottom deck as well. I cannot stress this enough. From now on, I will only vacation in the Smokies when I can secure this cabin. This is the only way to experience the Great Smoky Mountains. After being spoiled this time, I won't be able to be okay spending my money elsewhere.
This was mine and my family's first time ever to rent a cabin. We absolutely loved it and we are looking forward to staying there again. The cabin itself was so beautiful that we didn't want to leave. And the views were gorgeous! We woke up to the peacefulness of the mountains and fell asleep with the lights of Pigeon Forge in the valley. Thank you Charlene for allowing us to stay at your cabin. It was our home away from home during that week. Can't wait until our next visit!!!
