Stunning, beautiful location, rare!

The terrain of al Casarico with the Villa in Swiss/ Italian style is well known in the roundabouts because of its big (flat) area, the absolute privacy and the stunning view (270 degrees). Even the inhabitants call it ' il paradiso '.

It is the perfect place for admirers of nature, privacy and undisturbed holidayfun in a mediterranian atmosphere.

The villa is very comfortable with a large, spacy lounge with a fireplace, a modest, but complete equiped kitchen and three large, luxuourious bedroom, each with its own bathroom.

On the 8800 m2 property you will find a lot of beautiful viewing places and places to retreat in the middle of nature.

Private pool ( 9 - 5 m) directly by the house.

Parking spaces are about 2-3 minutes away on foot. From the parking lot, there is a beautiful forest path leading to the paradise-like property. The concierge will pick you up from the parking lot on arrival.

Additional services are possible: preparing meals, doing the shopping only, babysitti

Description of the holiday domicile: The paradise-like holiday domicile is located 250 m above the picturesque village of Vira (on Lago Maggiore). The entrance is possible up to 3 minutes (on foot) from the entrance. These 3 minutes are worth it once you arrive in the 8800m2 property. It is a breath-taking location, which is even a true rarity in Tessin!

Also regarding culture, the region of Lago Maggiore has a lot to offer: for example, the jazz festival in Ascona, the international film festival in Locarno, the international organfestival of Magadino, etc.

In summertime, the lovely village of Vira has its own filmfestival outdoors. Under the starry sky, just by the seashore one can enjoy films on a big screen: a very nice experience indeed !

Notes

  • Inclusive are:

    * Bed- and bath linnen. ( NB: beachtowels are not included; please take them with you!)
    * all energy costs
    * wood for the fireplace

    * Tourist taxes

    Additional costs:

    * Endcleaning (once) : € 180,-
    * Keydeposit: €400,-. This will be fully returned if by departure no damage is seen ans no other casualties have occured. (within 10 days restituted on the bankaccount )
  • The Villa al Casarico offers a sleepingplace to 8 persons.

    Anyhow, it is possible to stay with a maximum of 12 persons in al Casarico.

    In that case we have two tents available- each for two persons.
    There are four fieldbeds.
    In the tents will be slept in sleepingbags, and not in luxiourious bedlinnen - as in the house.
  • Additional costs for all persons above 8 will be € 150,- pppw.
    (including tent, fieldbed, sleepingbag, pillow and bathlinnen )

  • The bathrooms were fully renovated in 2010 and furnished in a tasteful manner.

  • The bedrooms and bathrooms were newly renovated in April 2010. Room 1 : with balcony and loggia offer a wonderful view on the lake and on the swimmingpool -in the most peaceful location. You can enjoy the view of Locarno and the Italian/Swiss alps. On the Loggia you can sit at all times peacefully and enjoy a magnificent view over the estate and the overwhelming surroundings. Floor- heating. Room 2: with balcony: offers an even so beuatiful view on the lake and the mountains. Room 3: is a the large room ( 7-4m) with direct acces to the terras and the garden. It is a nice, cool room with a panoramic window. It has a large french bed and a slepping coach for two persons. All bedrooms have an LCD TV with satellite reception and DVD. It is possible to stay in al Casarico with more than 8 persons. Elderly children can sleep in the two tents that we have available. Smaller children can either sleep with the parents or (eventually) on the loggia.

Notes: ... and there is also a large trampoline (diameter of about 4.20 m!) and a table tennis table outdoors. And of course you can also play badminton on the lawn. If you leave the property, you are immediately in the forest. From here you can be adventurous, peaceful or have challanging walks! Within 15 minutes, you can get to Lago in Vira/Magadino or in the neighbouring village of Orgnana with comfortable Grotto's where you can enjoy the typical food and atmosphere. On the property you will find a lot of terraces and dreamy spaces where you can lean back and relax. By the pool you will find a wonderful old pergola with grapes and a beautiful terrace. From the ' tower- terrace' one enjoys an amazing view: on the lake and the mountaintops as well as on the montainslope behind you. This is an extraordinary place to be; morning, afternoon, evening: you never get enough of it! Inside the Casa there is a lounge for the use of all guests. It has a panoramic window and a fire place.

Die Zeit in Al Casarico war einfach genial.
Wir hatten zuerst ein etwas mulmiges Gefühl, als wir den weiten Weg mit dem Auto raufgefahren sind und das Auto parkierten. Oben angekommen, dann durch das Wäldlein.. Alles ein bisschen mysteriös.
Als wir dann zum Haus kamen und die atemberaubende Aussicht genossen. Wow! Einfach nur der Wahnsinn. Das Haus ist ausserordentlich gut ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Was will man mehr?
Die housekeeper waren sehr freundlich und haben uns richtig alleine gelassen. Alles in allem eine unvergessliche Zeit.

Der Parkplatz ist im Wald, der Weg zum Haus führt kurz durch den Wald - aber dann.... eroeffnet sich Ihre ganze Schonheit - " Wahnsinnig ", wie Sie sagen!

The parkingplace is in the woods, the path to the house leads shortly through the woods - but then.... it reveals its beauty- " breathtaking", as you say!
