This area, between the sleepy villages of Castara and Parlatuvier, is considered the most lovely and tranquil region of Tobago. The villa is perched along a ridge overlooking picturesque Englishman's Bay and the Caribbean, surrounded by three acres of lush, mature landscaping and orchards. It is truly something special. Sunset Valley's large and comfortable verandas command one of the most breath-taking panoramas you will ever experience.

1. Follow the Northside Road through the villages of Mason Hall and Moriah to Castara..... 2. Drive through Castara, past Little Englishman's Bay (it's a lovely scene)..... 3. Go up that hill and you will see a milepost marker (actually a km. marker) that says '22.5 km'..... 4. Take a right there and go up Miss Mills Trace about 200 meters to a junction..... 5. Take a right and go up the drive and take a left at the top.....welcome to Sunset Valley !!!

Notes: The villa's expansive veranda, which wraps around the entire house, is perhaps the most memorable feature of this lovely property. From the cool and shade of the veranda you can enjoy one of the finest views on Tobago. The Caribbean to the front and the rainforest to the rear. Sunset Valley can easily accommodate up to eight (8) people. Two of the bedrooms have both double and twin beds (with en suite bath); the third bedroom has twins and there are two full-size futons in the great room. We will gladly mix and match the bedroom layouts to fit your requirements. There are large ceiling fans throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped as is the laundry room including a large utility sink. Sunset Valley's comfortable pool and patio area enjoys a wonderful view of the island's forest reserve and features an outdoor shower for your convenience.

I now have been to Sunset Valley five times for no less than three weeks at a time. It is a beautiful property to rent with all the mod-cons you would require and the setting is out of this world,but it is the family that own the property that make you want to return.
From the first enquiry about renting to Rande, to your arrival being met by Pops, at the airport then a meal waiting in the fridge , made by Moms, ready for weary travellers the holiday can not go wrong.It is a beautiful island and the people are so kind.
I would recommend this stunning property to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful and beautiful setting, a place to recharge your batteries from busy lives, surrounded by magnificent scenery and wild life, but not wanting a night life.
It is my idea of Paridise and now my carribean home.

I have to say that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunset Valley. The home, the view, and the surroundings were everything one would imagine their Caribbean vacation to be. One can appreciate the serene view, the feeling of being in the middle of the rain forest, and the simplicity that the home near Englishman’s Bay has to offer. I will be going back…

We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Sunset Valley Estate this past March. It was wonderful in every sense of the word. The villa and grounds were extremely well maintained. The views were spectacular and the hospitality the best feature of all. It's the best vacation we have ever had and the bes place visited. You find very few things in life that are better than advertised, but Sunset Valley was more than we expected or even hoped for. We have read other reviews which stated this same feeling and this was one of the deciding factors as to why we chose this particular villa. We now eco those exact sentiments. Sunset Valley is better than advertised. We can whole heartily recommend this to any future visitor to Tobago. We know we will be back.

Romance in Paradise

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending our recent honeymoon at Sunset Valley Estate on Tobago. It was fantastic. I have traveled the world and I can honestly say that I have never stayed at a cleaner and better-maintained house than Sunset Valley. It was immaculately kept. Our laundry was done daily, beds were made daily, bathrooms cleaned daily and fresh linen on the fourth day. Wow. The views were breath taking, as well.

However, the best part of the trip wasn’t the wonderful villa or the fantastic views and gardens, but the warm hospitality of our hosts, Mom and Pop. Mom made sure everything was perfect and Pop acted as our local guide. It was so comforting to have them there. It was really like being home, but in paradise.

We can absolutely and without reservation highly recommend Sunset Valley to anyone looking for a rental villa in Tobago. It was much better than advertised and probably more than we hoped for. We will be back next year too!
