AN OLD TOWNHOUSE IN THE CENTRO STORICO, LOCATED BETWEEN TWO SEAS.

This is a beautiful and completely supplied, perfectly maintained (a rare find) home which is designed like an old Roman Villa. It has an enclosed front garden and another enclosed garden between the large living room and the bedroom which has an en suite bath. The second bath is one 27 step flight upstairs where you will also find 2 incredible roof terraces with amazing views of the village. The house is just a few kilometers from the city of Lecce proper. The gourmet kitchen has everything needed to prepare the most elaborate meals if you love to cook and it includes a wonderful fireplace. We moved a small sofa from the living room and spent most of our 8 days in the kitchen which is big enough to include a large dining room table and small sofa. Although there is excellent heating in the house, the fireplace kept us warm during an exceptionally cold spell in March 2011. The bed is large and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water and the little town has everything one needs plus there is a large Billa market just 2 or 3 km away. A car is necessary. The house is within a half an hour of most of the attractions of southern Puglia. This is highly recommended, perfectly maintained. A real home away from home with all the comforts. One could easily spend a month here. Parking is easy in the town and people are very friendly and helpful.
