Our flat is a luxurious, elegant and beautiful studio flat. It is decorated in soft natural colours with honey coloured oak floor throughout, gorgeous cream leather sofa and limestone bathroom with a huge, deep bath and fabulous power shower. The kitchen is compact with a granite work surface and a fine NEFF hob and oven. It is on the third floor so is always light and bright. The building is very elegant and kept in beautiful condition. The street is a tree lined 'cul de sac'. You will feel completely safe here. Everything you could need is within a couple of minutes of the flat- 24/7 shops, banks, a chemist, a fantastic delicatessen and a dozen very tempting restaurants offering every type of cuisine. Great Portland Street and Regents Park underground stations are within two or three minutes; Oxford Street is eight minutes walk and Regents Park five minutes to the north. A gorgeous flat in a superb location.

Our beautiful, luxurious, newly refurbished studio flat is on the third floor of a most elegant period building. The building is kept in perfect condition by a team of friendly and capable porters. It is at the top of Hallam Street - the heart of W1 - a tree-lined 'cul de sac'. Oxford Street is five minutes walk as is Regent's Park and theatre land is about fifteen minutes. Great Portland Street and Regents Park underground are two/three minutes walk and Oxford Circus is about eight. There are many buses and always taxis. It is a very elegant area, close to the exclusive Marylebone High Street and there are many wonderful restaurants of all sorts including the world-famous delicatessen and restaurant 'Villandry' on the door step. There are also banks, chemists and supermarkets. It is a fabulous and cosy flat in which to relax and pamper yourself and yet you can walk downstairs (or take the lift) and you are in the centre of London.

It would be helpful if you could arrive between 07.00 and 17.30 during weekdays. If you are not able to arrive within these times, do please say so in order that we can arrange to meet you with the keys. If at all possible we try to welcome you to our flat ourselves. Thank you.
  • We would require a week's deposit which will be refunded should you have to cancel up to a month before. After this time the deposit will be forfeited.

Notes: The double bed - with high quality mattress - is housed behind double cupboard doors. It can be brought down with a finger and left out or with no effort at all be tipped up into the cupboard. There are four cupboards as part of the room and therefore lots of hanging space and plenty of shelves. There is a cream leather double sofa, coffee table, two beech chairs, a dining table and a TV on a movable small table. The kitchen is all tiled and has a honed granite worktop. There are plates, glasses, cutlery for four/six and it is fully equipped with casserole dishes, toaster etc. In the hall of the flat there is an entry phone. There are Dimmer Switches throughout that can be controlled from the bed as well as throughout the flat. The Bath is a renovated Victorian Bath and so is wonderfully deep and long. The water is always piping hot and there is a heated towel rail. The flooring throughout is a beautiful honeyed oak.

The Perfect Place in Central London

I stayed in this flat for three weeks last August and I really enjoyed it, hope to stay there again soon. The location is perfect, there are two underground stations very close (great Portland street and regent's park) but you can also get a lot of buses from a bus stop that is 50 meters away. You can also walk to the very city centre, oxford circus is 10 minutes away. The area around the apartment is really nice and
elegant, great Portland street, that is next to Hallam street, is full of shops and if you walk 10 minutes you can get to high Marylebone street that is really beautiful and with many beautiful shops,restaurant, bar and a really nice supermarket (Waitrose) where I usually did the shopping and where you can find fresh meat, fish, lots of different cheeses and international delicatessens.
If you need the internet there's a newsagent next to warren street, 5 minutes far, with very convenient prices. If instead you like jogging or just a relaxing reading under a tree you can go to Regent's park, which is very beautiful. Another important thing to say is that the area is very safe, also late in the evening.
Speaking about the flat it is at the third floor (with an elevator) of a nice well-keep building whose porter was kind and helpful with me. About the flat I have to say that it looked bigger than I though, the kitchen and the bathroom are well separated from the main room and I liked it. The kitchen is small but there is everything you need in it to make a good meal, the bathroom is new.
The main room is bright with a big window, the bed is comfortable and if you want you can tip up it into the cupboard making the room even bigger, a great thing is that there no carpet that I don't like very much but there's wood floor that's easy to clean. The owner, was really nice and friendly to me, and she left me in the flat a little book with many useful tips in it.
To conclude I really recommend this flat to anyone, for its position, its condition and everything. At the end of my three weeks there I got very fond of it and of the area, I was quite sad to leave but I hope to come back as soon as I can.
Owner's Response: The location of the flat is indeed a great bonus, and being in the centre, it has the added advantage that if you do not want to walk to or from the sights of your choice, there will always be a Taxi close by.
