Krabi Dream Homes combines proven design with the newest technology. We are proud of setting the standard for innovative, environment-friendly residential projects in the Krabi region. Our property is the creation of a completely unique fusion of classical Thai construction principles with modern, energy-saving characteristics.
The local (and global!) environment is important to us and with regards to this, we built three houses in 2010 in which small but effective energy saving strategies were implemented. The result is 3 attractive houses with the names Ban Nang Fa, which also are extremely frugal with resources. We named our houses as follows: Baan Ratchinee (princess), Baan Kinaree (a famous bird-woman from Thai mythology) and Baan Absorn (an angel). These names fit to 3 enchanting houses, which fit perfectly into their surroundings.
An important characteristic of our houses is the roof construction. We did research for the most efficient design in regards to the internal temperature. Our roof areas are sealed and the ceilings are higher than normal. This is a highly effective possibility to keep the house as cool as possible.
Furthermore, our walls are double walls, 20 cm thick, with 2 cm space between them. Also here, this also makes sure that this heat does not leave and is ideal for maintaining constant temperatures during the cooler seasons.
Sun collectors have been used for many years and we have installed the newest technology. Environment-friendly storage of natural sun energy, which delivers energy for warm water preparation.
Each house has rich tropical wooden interiors (from sustainable forestry) and is tastefully equipped. The kitchens are equipped in a European style with a very high standard with all appliances.
