At the church a little salt Tangermünder cobbled street leading down to the Elbe: the customs gate. The narrow, three-storey timber-framed house, number 11 was built shortly after the great fire 1617th For generations, were here at home Elbe fishermen who sailed in the spring with its barge downriver. With the onset of winter, they returned, drawn back to towpaths, wintered in the house and protect their fishing boat in the small Helinghafen before the ice, which at the time below the house and is now a meadow. Today, the small single monument is almost back to normal: A very cozy cottage for those who feel more comfortable among historic oak beams and clay plaster than in wood-chip wallpaper and PVC ... and want to dive for a few days in the atmosphere of the old imperial city of Stendal ... The Terra Incognita, uncharted no man's land is located halfway between Wolfsburg and Berlin. Too far for an afternoon outing, too far from the sea, from the Alps, the highway. It so happens that the northern Saxony-Anhalt has many foreign visitors than the Moon. This is a shame because that very few ever get to know Tangermünde. A few years ago when it was still the old Elbe Bridge, tangierte some road users, the 10th 000-inhabitant city on the Elbe, and today leads an elegant ring road bridge a few miles away over the flooded meadows and the wide river, and Tangermünde dreams a thousand years of sleep. Because the city is so old, and in 2009 was celebrated the millennium. Yet the city is not soooo sleepy, but surprise visitor in the breathtakingly beautiful scenery with a very distinctive and very contemporary charm. It's no coincidence that our little house has been a number of regulars!

(DG remains unlet, so you have the house alone at least for themselves). 'WHOLE HOUSE': 3-7 persons (ideal: 4 E, 3-4 K) rent the whole house (EC / OG / DG). Here the first two nights cost 240 euros (2x100, - € plus one final cleaning 40, -). The following night will cost € 100 each. For reservations of one week, there's a free night!

Notes: Popular and used: Bullerjan Our wood stove in the living area on the ground! The cozy fireplace in no time making romance and warmth. Wood in the barn! And do not worry, even the brand new central heating throughout the house provides a cozy warmth. And the clay plaster guarantees a pleasant coolness in summer. Newcomers are sometimes surprised by the romantic angling our 350 year old single monument. But the installation of the narrow wooden stairs was a real act! But besides the use of guaranteed regional and historical materials (clay plaster, historic sandstone paving in the courtyard, oak floors in a single, ancient oak trees in the vicinity of Magdeburg), we also have all kinds of aspects in our modern houses realized ... A Shabby-inspired decor in chic and, above all, open walls wherever it allowed the static! This modern art and all kinds of regional artifacts.
