At the Tangermünder salt church a small cobbled street leading down to the river Elbe: The inch riser. The narrow, three-storey half-timbered cottage, house number 11, was built shortly after the great fire in 1617. For generations were here Elbfischer home, with her barge headed downriver in the spring.
