Your holidays in a stylish 19 th century spacious castle in Languedoc, located in quiet hintenland at 50 kilometres from sea within 10 acres of centenaries pines and oaks wood and with magnificent view on Cevennes. Private large swimming pool and tennis court. 5000 m2 watered and flowered garden partly sunny and partly shady, numerous terraces, barbecue, large petanque ground, numerous garden furniture. 11 main rooms including 8 sleeping rooms,large dining room, salon, large living room with its american kitchen, large kitchen, large bathroom + 3 other bathrooms and a toilet outside. All modern comfort. Conservation of the original style with antique furniture, visible stones on walls and wooden beams. Around the property, numerous wandering in woods or guarrigue, climbing, fishing in a private river, wild pork hunting, mushrooms picking. Near from high mountains of regional Park, Alpinism. Very quiet. Road stops at our place with one neighbour only in the previous farm.

Autumn is nice in South of France until beginning of November. Sea water starts to be cool, snow is not yet arrived but in Mas de Riols you will find Tennis, Golf, all terrain cycling, wonderfull excursions, horse ridding, mushrooms picking, fishing in the rivers, . Prices are so low. Benefit from it. 2 thermal stations in vicinity with theater, operette festival, casino Numerous middle age villages, castles, abbeys, roman churches with concerts. Golf at 10 kilometers, horse ridding at 2 kilometers, large lake for sailing at 15 kilometers. Around the property, numerous wandering by foot or cycles , climbing, fishing in a private river, wild pork hunting, mushrooms picking. Good wine, good typical restaurants, local markets with excellent fresh and typical food. Roquefort is not far. Excellent austern in Bouzigues., Golf at 10 kilometers, horse ridding at 2 kilometers, large lake for sailing at 15 kilometers. Canoê and Kayak at 20 km.

2 maids and 1 gardener will be there from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm the day of change of tenants. You can arrive in the afternoon and leave in the morning. You will be welcome at arrival and someone will come at departure. From October to May, week end are accepted, Price is half of weekly price.

  • From May to September, Pool maintenance(3 interventions per week), electricity(5 KW external lightning), water for automatic watering, gas for cooking stoves, telephone for local use are included in the price.
    Cleaning at departure vary from 150 euros up to 5 persons, to 250 euros for more than 11 persons.
    Possibility to get bedlinen: 9 euros per bed, towels (one20normal and one bath towel per person)+ kitchen clothes: 4 euros per person.
    In April and October 75 euros per week is paid for pool maintenance if used.
    From November to March, electricity is charged according to consumption.
    When needed fuel for central heating is charged at consumption.

Notes: Swimming pool is 14X6 m, 2.5 m in deep basin, 1 m in shallow basin. One staircase go down to the pool. The pool area is closed with doors. Youngsters can jump and dive but small children cannot enter. The 5000 m garden is watered automaticaly every night. 3 telephones , one with fax. ADSL should arrive beginning 2009. 2 satellite TV with their DVD players. One Audio Hifi chain. Excellent central heating.
