Luxurious three bedroom apartment overlooking pool set in immaculate gardens in quiet location. This private select complex of just 32 apartments has panoramic views and is just five minutes walk from the traditional fishing village of Alvor, with its lovely harbour and vast array of bars and restaurants. The magnificent beach is only a five minute walk from the village centre. The spacious, air conditioned accommodation is beautifully furnished and comprises lounge with double sofa bed surround sound TV and DVD/CD player with balcony overlooking pool and magnificent views. The kitchen diner is fully equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, dish washer and microwave. The dining room is in a beautiful bay window and has seating for six. There are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, two with balconies and family bathroom with shower. This ground floor accommodation is ideal for families and satellite TV picks up BBC, ITV, music, Sky news and movies.

Alvor is a traditional Portuguese fishing village with harbour, 2km beach with secluded coves and where you'll find beach bars and restaurants. Stroll along the harbour to find more bars and open air fish restaurants, whilst watching the fishermen bring in the catch of the day. There are facilities for tennis, wind surfing and golfers are well catered for with the local Alto golf club and luxury Penina Championship Golf Course. The village with its quaint church offers a good selection of shops open till midnight in high season and street entertainment, whilst retaining its natural charm. Even out of season there are still ample facilities available. The nearby resorts of Lagos and Praia da Rocha are just a few minutes drive away, or a cheap taxi ride, as is the international marina of Portimao. Enjoy a trip to the spectacular views from the Monchique Mountains, or a day's shopping at the Algarve shopping centre. For the kids, there are numerous water theme parks.

A wonderful apartment in a wonderful resort!

Just returned from a fantastic relaxing break in Alvor. We've stayed in this Apartment block several times before, but this is the first time we've stayed in this apartment, and it's far and away the best. It's beautifully appointed with air conditioning in each bedroom and also the Living room. The apartment overlooks the fantastic pool, which was handy when our kids wanted to get out of the heat. They could go back to the room and watch DVD's and call from the balcony if they needed anything. The grounds are beautifully looked after, and located in a nice quiet spot but still only a 10 minute walk to the great restaurants and bar's in Alvors main strip. Plenty of fantastic restaurants, Marafados & Goodville being our favourites, and also a great place called the French Bar just over the road if you don't fancy the walk. Antonio and Jose always made us feel very welcome!
We usually hire a car for the duration, but this time we used airport transfer in the shape of Steve (friend of the owners) who lives in Alvor and was a lovely bloke and very helpful. We'll definitely be returning and definitely stay in this apartment. I've never been so gutted to be back in England!

Excellent holiday apartment

Had a wonderful stay here end August/ early September. Was just as described on website. Property was tastefully furnished, clean and well equipped with lovely pool & gardens. Owner was very helpful when booking, and assisted with airport transfer contact details. Located in a nice, quiet area above the town of Alvor, the bars and excellent restaurants are just a few minutes walk away. we travelled with 3 children aged 12-14 who loved the apartment and we found plenty to keep them amused in Alvor and on the many excursions available. For the first time in recent years we did not hire a car, and found we did not need to. Public transport and organised tours meant we could visit many attractions in the area. Would recommend Alvor and this apartment to any friends who wanted to experience Portugal. Although Alvor has changed from a fishing village to a tourist destination it has retained it's charm. We hope to return to this apartment next time we visit Portugal.

Fabulous!

What a fabulous apartment. Great location and vista, spacious, immaculate and with everything we needed during our 18 day relaxing and stress free stay in the lovely town of Alvor. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool a delight on those HOT September days (and you can't ever say that in Glasgow!). The town has a beautiful (and very long beach), loads of good restaurants and we'll definitely be visiting again.

This apartment "does what it says on the can"

Recently returned from a holiday in Alvor in this beautiful apartment. The description of the apartment is just as described in the advert.

The apartment iteslf is spacious and immaculate, the bedrooms are all of a good size and the furniture is new and well fitted in all rooms. The towels and linen are all new and of good quality and the apartment was spotless on arrival, even has a combi-bolier so that even with lots of guest you don't run out of hotwater. The gardens are immaculate and the pool area vey clean. The apartment block itself is very well maintained and cool, even in summer.

The location is pefect for a stroll into Alvor which is a lovely village and which still manages to keep its charm but has sufficient restaurants and bars to keep everyone happy.

All in all, an excellent apartment in a great location, renters will not be dissapointed with this apartment.
