First of all let me say getting ahold of property owners was very easy.They always returned my phone call and I believed I had nothing to worry about. This vacation was book for my whole family of fifteen people.I have never been more disappointed in a rental than the current condition of this property. My family incurred a cleaning expense but when we started our vacation we were forced to fold towels in dryer, empty dishwasher, sweep living room due to heavy amounts of sand and candy wrappers under the couch. Bedding in one room had to be washed garbage removed from room. We noticed mold in the living room and master bath upstairs. Not only is this unsanitary but I have family members who have medical conditions pertaining to mold. So you can sees, our ver first impression of Jolly Roger is not a pleasant one.The grill burner was rusted and did not work. The care taker told us it would be fixed by 9am next day. At 5:30 next day she bought a $16.00 grill over what we were to use to cook for 15 people.PLEASE! The lawn people cut grass that ended up in the pool. The grass was tall and poorly maintained. The lawn furniture was broken and rusted and were unable to be used.I sent a letter to the owners with pictures of there property. It has been twelve weeks and to this day have never heard a word from either of them. I can't tell you how disappointed I am that they choose not to even address this issue.. The pictures I sent backed up everything that I believe needed to be taken care of. So my advise to anyone that is looking for a house in the Destin area by pass this one.
