Marmaris - Datca area Vacation Rental villa: Marmaris

This is my second time in Marmaris and the only thing I didn't like about the place was the hotel. This time there were nine of us going ranging from 6 years old to 65 which in any comfortable hotel would of cost a mint. We were picked up from the airport by the transport arranged by Colin which for us was a brand new Mercedes luxury mini bus. As soon as we arrived at the villa we all knew we had mad the right choice. The whole villa was sparkling clean and with food and drink already in place for us, we felt at home immediately. All six bedrooms were immaculate and the three with balconies added to the feeling of luxury as well as comfort. The kitchen has a huge fridge freezer and enough plates and cutlery to feed an army. The whole place made you feel at home and the decor throughout the place only added to what can only be described as surly the best villa in Marmaris. The swimming pool has got to be the best feature of the whole place. It is surrounded by plants and flowers of all types and it was used from dawn to dusk ( and beyond) by the whole party. The location was perfect for us, ten minutes walk from the shopping centre, two minutes walk to a 24hr bakery which served every type of bread and cakes you can imagine, ( the bread is sometimes to hot to pick up .....talk about fresh). Just across the way from the villa lives a taxi driver who was only to happy to drive you anywhere, he was a wonderful man and it felt as if we had our own chauffer. We had the great pleasure in meeting both Colin and Christine when we were there and they made us feel very welcome. This place easily gets a five star rating not only from me but from all the party that was with me, we only wish this site had a six star rating for un-beatable value. Before I picked this villa I spent days looking at most of the villa’s and hotels in Marmaris and practically every villa or hotel had people praising it and at the same time people complaining about the same place. This Villa has only had top points and will keep getting them for year to come and I myself will most defiantly be coming back to the Villa Bougainvillea very soon.

This was the first time we have ever stayed in a villa as we have always stayed in hotels.Min 4 star rating. After staying at this villa i dont think we will be doing hotels anymore. At first i was a bit unsure about booking a villa as my children would have no one to play with but there were so much to do around and about i needn't have worried. Only a short walk to the Harbour ' Shops ' Town ect. The villa itself was spotless clean as was the pool and the grounds. No need to do a big shop at the supermarket as the bars and resteraunts are very reasonable. The drinks are a littel expensive but most bars we went in they gave my kids Regan and Kayleigh free drinks. Very kid freindly.
