One of the few cottages on the River Moselle and with very little traffic. Old, romantic, newly renovated approximately 160 sqm holiday home in resort Kövenig (150 inhabitants). River view from most rooms and from the balcony. Separate sleeping compartment with 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Large eat-in kitchen and cozy living room with a panoramic view (vineyards, boats on the river). Beautiful, enclosed garden, where the pets (which are welcome) can play. If one wants to enjoy the hectic tourist life in Traben-Trarbach, one takes only the local line from Kövenig (5 minutes) is there a ferry After Enkirch (photo). I place two bicycles, and in Traben-Trarbach is possible to rent bicycles more. Grocery stores km 3-4, many restaurants in Traben-Trarbach and Enkirch.

The old part of the house is built of stones that come from Mount Royal (the fortress above the village, which was built by Louis XIV). Mont Royal is definitely worth seeing. Traben-Trarbach was (4 km away) once the second largest wine-growing town in Europe, and today you can visit the cellars beneath the city. All along the river edge, there are many Roman attractions. Trier, the oldest city in Germany, is an hour away, if you use the motorway. The path along the river is slower, but much nicer. Koblenz (German Corner) located 100 Km.
