Nieblum Chateau / Country House Rental Photos and Description
The castle has been built in the year 1853, which is how the inhabitants of Nieblum call this neat property. It was built by Paul Nickels Paulsen, a seafaring pioneer and the first captain who crossed the Atlantic from East to West by steamship and that from Hamburg to New York! After Paulsens' death his widow Helene lived in the house. Being a native Norwegian she gave a specifically Norwegian touch to the interior that can still be sensed: gentle lucidity and light colours define the style. Globes and cones made out of accurately shaped box trees shape the large garden of 2000 m². Comfortable sitting areas guarantee relaxation during your stay. The thatched roof house is located in the centre of the old village with view of the sea. The beach can be reached within 10 minutes on foot. ***Garden Eden Object ***Dream terraces object.
