A BRIGHT HOUSE ON A SILVERY-GRAY ROCK RIGHT ON THE LAKE SHORE

Further Details: Rivetta has three floors. On the main floor there is a bright kitchen-living room with open access to the dining area and the patio. This floor has six (!) high windows - almost all face the lake. Several of the many windows are French doors which open either onto the balcony or the patio. Small steps lead from the patio to the lakeshore. If you want to avoid the direct sun, shutters will provide pleasant semi-shade. The upper floor has a bright sitting room leading into the two double bedrooms. One of the two bedrooms has a raised area with two single beds (perfect for kids). Both of these floors each have a bathroom. Rivetta is equipped with: TV (regional channels), dishwasher, bathtub with hydro massage, terrace, loggia with wooden table and chairs. In the basement there is a pleasant surprise - a small sauna!

Furthermore there is an additional section with external entrance - a small studio apartment with double bedroom, living/kitchen and bathroom. In front of the apartment there is a terrace with lake view equipped with small table and two chairs (see white outdoor furniture in front of the yellow façade). This section is not connected with the rest of the house, but has it' its own seperate external entrance. Therefore it is particuliary sueted for a couple or a babysitter travelling with your family.

San Siro: In the small village of San Siro you will find a a pizzeria and a bus stop. A grocery store is 2 km south. On shore of the lake there are water sports facilities (boat rental, sailing, surfing), and there are a number of scenic trekking routes that begin at the lake. Furthermore, San Siro is a pretty, antique hamlet where you can still feel the atmosphere of the ancient past and view the beautiful castle with arcades dating back to the year 1000. By the way - the best way to reach the long lake is not by car but by boat. Ferries will take you across to the other small lakeside towns, villages and islands. The next stop is at Menaggio, only 5 km from your house. In Menaggio there is also a golf course and tennis court. Menaggio has all you need - restaurants, trattoria, alimentari, tabbachi, bank, post and such. Como is located 30 km to the south.
