Nightlife and Restaurants: Lake Maggiore it is famous for his night life and for the incredible restaurant with amazing view, in some place you can look 7 lakes. Owner speaks English and he can suggests you all details about disco, pub, and traditional restaurant Moreover he can helps you for trekking (Val Grande park most wildest park in Italy it is only 20/30 minutes by car from the property), walking route (you can go out by foot from the garden and walk for hours and hours without cross roads, find peoples and noise in a different treks). Adventure: You will have the possibility to discover the wonderful landscape of the Maggiore Lake with its Bella, Madre and Fishermen Islands, and the beautiful Orta Lake with its San Giulio island. Moreover, in maximum half an hour by car, you will reach Val d’Ossola and Val Sesia, two wonderful Alpine Valleys around the Rosa Mountain (4.634 m high) with many walk and ski areas, from Simplon Pass you can reach border with Canton Vallese in Switzerland. There are plenty of solutions for your free time.
'One Day Trip':: 3 suggestions of 'One Day Trip': A trip by Cable-Car from Stresa to Mottarone mountain top: wonderful view on the Alps and on the Lake. A Car ride to Orta S.Giulio passing thru Il Mottarone: after that v. nice view from Mottarone, you will find a peaceful out-of-it-all atmosphere in Orta S.Giulio. A trip by Boat visiting S.Caterina del Sasso (a nice Monastery in a breathtaking place), Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori (nice Restaurants), Stresa and then back to Meina! Botanic Gardens. If you like gardening then you might be interested in visiting one of the numerous Botanic Gardens in Stresa, Verbania or Isola Madre considered some of the best of the Europe. Local Markets. Everyday from 8:00 to 13:00 you have a Local Markets in one of the villages near Meina. They might not be large but they are always worth a look! This year you have: Monday/Baveno, Tuesday/Arona, Wednesday/Luino & Sesto Calende, Thursday/Lesa, Friday/Stresa, and Saturday/Verbania.
Ski: Mottarone: 20 KM; Mountain Rosa and, Mountain Bianco: Alagna Indrem (free ride paradise) 80km; Macugnaga 50km; Cervinia 130km; Courmayeur 170km....
