The house is situated in the old town of Stari Grad on the Dalmatian island of Hvar and has capacity for 4 people on three floors. On the ground floor and the first floor are two double bedrooms with attached toilets and showers, which have recently been detected and is full restored and renovated. The top floor is 'open plan' with sitting area, kitchenette and dining area, and panoramic windows overlooking the hilly interior landscape of Hvar. This floor is equipped with air conditioning. The house was completely restored in 2009. The interior is classically simple with wooden floors, white walls, stone walls and antique furniture.

Bathing facilities, and a rich culture - and entertainment in the summer season are also in place. Weekly cleaning, towels and bed linen are provided. A local contact is with help and advice available.

Our cottage lies in the heart of the beautiful old town of Stari Grad on the northern shore of the Iceland of Hvar, and only a stone's throw from a picturesque harbor, with shops, restaurants and cafes. It can Easily accommodate four people in two separate bedrooms, each with en-suite shower Their Own and toilet. Being a typical fisherman's cottage, the house is compact and spreads out over three floors. The bedrooms are on the ground and first floor, while the top floor is air-conditioned and has a kitchen, as well as a sitting and eating area. All floors all linked via internal staircases, and there are so separate entrances on the ground and on the first floor.

The house was completely renovated in 2009 and is furnished in a classic style with white-washed walls and antique furniture. Towels and sheets are changed on a weekly basis by our local contact person.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in Starigrad

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem malerischen Ferienort Starigrad. Das gut ausgestattete Haus liegt zentral mitten in der Altstadt Nähe der Hafenpromenade, umgeben von romantische Gassen, idyllischen Plätzen und vielen kleinen Restaurants (übrigens mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis). Die Insel bietet viel Abwechslung, besonders ein Besuch in Hvar-Stadt ist lohnenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Stari Grad is one of the main centers of the sun island Hvar: Condé Nast one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world with 300 sunny days a year. The house is in a quiet side street in the picturesque town of Stari Grad close to cafes, restaurants, shops, marina and swimming.

Starigrad has ferry connections to neighbor islands (Brac, Korcula) and the mainland to Split (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Dubrovnik is 2 hours away from the island. The office closest airport Split Most visitors travel by car to Split. From there, take a regular ferry (7 times a day, 2 hour drive) directly to Stari Grad on Hvar. Then you can either walk to the Old Town (20 minutes) or by bus or car (5 minutes each).

Stari Grad is one of the main villages of the Iceland of Hvar; voted by Conde Nast readers as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world. Our cottage is located in a quiet side street right in the center of the old town; a stone's throw from the harbor, bars, restaurants, and shops. Beaches are a ten minute walk away Further.

Most people arrive in Stari Grad by direct ferry from Split (2 hours crossing; 7 times daily in summer). The old twon is a 20 minute walk from the ferry dock, but there are buses and taxis so (5 minutes). So Hvar has ferry links to the islands of Korcula and Brac, as well as to Ancona (Italy). The nearest airport is located in Split. Dubrovnik so darstellt an option as it is only a 2 hour drive from the eastern side of the Iceland (Which then requires A Further one-hour drive to get to Stari Grad). It is not Necessary to rent a car, as the Iceland has to efficient bus network. Bike, boat and scooter hires are so plentiful.
