Set just outside the pueblo of Alhaurin El Grande in the foothills of the pine forests of the Sierra de Mijas in two and a half acres of orange and olive groves, Finca La Luna is perfect for those who would like the peace and quiet of the Andalusian countryside but still be a short distance from the coast. The villa is split into two separate units (we only rent to one party you will not have to share with others) has four double bedrooms two bathrooms, two fitted kitchens, under floor central heating, air conditioning, power showers, SKY TV, DVD player with library, built in wardrobes etc. Outside there is 120m2 of terracing with sunbeds brick built Bar-B-Que, table pergola,central gas no changing bottles,all the facilities you would expect of top class accommodation. Finca La Luna has two, two bedroom villas side by side,this has proved very popular with parties with two families each having their own privacy but still being together also parties with just two couples often take advantage of our 'rent one villa and get the other for 200 Euros' offer so as to each have their own space.We have even had couples with two teenage children taking both villas so the kids can have their own space,watch their own TV programmes and play their own music !!!. The outside facilities are superb with permanent brick built pergola,table and BAR B QUE, all lit which along with the pool lights make for wonderful long evenings at home.If you like we will even provide a special gas ring and pan so that you can have a go at making paella outside !!! PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT WE ONLY RENT TO ONE PARTY YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SHARE WITH STRANGERS, EVEN IF THERE ARE ONLY TWO IN YOUR PARTY YOU WILL HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE FACILITIIES.

Finca La Luna is fully fenced with electric gates,it is situated in an area called Dehesilla the most upmarket and desirable part of Alhaurin El Grande 500m from our local bar/restaurant with others nearby and is very easy to find as it is only 20 minutes from Malaga airport and the coast, it is ideal for those who have tired of staying at the coast but would still like to be within easy reach for visits to the beach and places like Benalmadina, Marbella,Torremolinos etc. It is also ideal for those who would prefer to head inland to Granada or Ronda and of course is perfect for golf, rambling, cycling, birdwatching, painting etc. NOTE ALTHOUGH WE SLEEP UP TO TEN, SMALL PARTIES ARE WELCOME AND THE PRICE WILL BE RIGHT !!! ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DAYS WE HAVE LUGGAGE STORAGE,SHOWER,TOILET AND CHANGING FACILITIES. DON'T FORGET YOU HAVE FREE USE OF A CAR !!!

We new straight away as we drove down the sweeping drive and from the friendly welcome we received that we were on to a winner.Everything was perfect and most important for me SCRUPULOUSLY CLEAN. We felt so at home and relaxed that apart from the odd walk to the local bar we simply couldn't be bothered to leave the place and stayed in most nights.We had a new Bar-B-Que experience,we had bought charcoal but were given olive logs and told "do it the Spanish way" and wow what a difference we never used the charcoal again, but the thing that stands out is the concern for our happiness and wellbeing shown by the owners."We'll be back"

Well where do I start,it is rare to find somewhere where everything is right, top class fixtures and fittings,powerful showers (a must for me) and as for the outside facilities.
Brick built pergola Bar-B-Que and table all fully lit which along with the pool lights made for idyillic long evenings.
What a joy to see the kids jumping into the turquoise water at midnight (well they were on holiday) All this coupled with hosts who couldn't be friendlier made for
the best holiday we have had.
