Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED AND COMPLETELY RENOVATED, NOT JUST REDECORATED, our condo was done to be our beach home, not as a "rental." We have granite counters in the kitchen and bath, Italian tile, high end luxury furnishings and finish. The kitchen is equipped meticulously, with your every need in mind. The decor is soft and inviting, with leather furniture and attractive art. The bedroom has plenty of built in closets, a queen and a double bed. We are located directly on Crescent Beach, the lanai leading to a path to the sand. The clear aqua blue waters of the Gulf stretch out on a shelf, inviting long, easy walks into the water before you stretch out for a swim. The extraordinary, bright white sand is almost completely quartz crystal. As such, it maintains a constant cool temperature and is the softest powder imaginable. It has been ranked one of the ten best beaches in the world! The beach stretches for miles. Your private beach and chaises in front of the complex are solely for Casa Mar guests. Take an early morning walk on the beach and watch the birds, collect sea shells, laugh at the frolicking dolphins. Have breakfast on your lanai which faces the courtyard and beach path. Maybe take a dip in one of the heated pools, or go for a game of tennis or shuffleboard. Lounge on the grass near the sea, or socialize by the club house.

Casa Mar is a warm, friendly place where people return year after year. Make a friend, and stay in touch for next year! Go bicycling, play a round of golf, go fishing, kayaking, boating, sailing, or just staring at the sea. Anything you do is great in this special place on earth. The restaurants on the Key are gourmet or casual. The drive to Sarasota is a short half hour: to arts, culture, sophistication. The drive home after an evening at the Opera House, Asolo Theater, or Van Wezel Performing Arts Center is easy and welcome. You will not want to miss the spectacular sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico, so maybe you just cannot dine or play until after that last orange streak has disappeared.

Enjoy our special place for us while we cannot be there. Come to beauty, luxury, and seaside relaxation! You deserve it!

About The Owner

We live in Pittsburgh, far from the sea, and both still work full time. I'm a Clinical Psychologist and my husband is in finance. I miss the ocean terribly, having grown up in New England, and when we visited Siesta Key I could not resist its lure. We bought our condo and completely gutted it and renovated every inch. Interior design is a hobby of mine and I enjoy making places beautiful and maintaining them. I admit to being a perfectionist, which you will see when you are our guest. Extending our home to others is my pleasure and my nature.

Why The Owner chose Siesta Key

We fell in love with Siesta Key, its relaxed style, beauty, fabulous beach, and ideal climate. Not being ready to retire and winter there, we chose to buy ourselves a "little place on the beach," as a spot to escape to, just for us.

What makes this condo unique

We LOVE our place, every inch, and we hate that we can't be there all the time. We especially love the beach in the early morning and at sunset. We relish walking on the beach to the Village (about 45 min.), and going to the Lobster Pot for a Lobster Roll--a tradition for us to do every visit !

It was very nice and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed walking the beautiful beach and the pools. We also tried the Broken Egg this time and it was great. Lovely Beach house

We finally managed to coordinate our family vacation and couldn't think of a better place to spend our time. Beautiful beach, really nice grounds and lovely beach house to come back to each day. Lots of good memories were made here these two weeks and we will definitely be back! Thanks!
