Our house is located in the south of Texel, the main resort of the island, directly behind the dunes.
In only 5 - 10 minutes you are after a nice walk through the dunes to the sea and the long sandy beach. Or stroll through the center of Texel, where you will find many cafes, shops and restaurants.
Directly from the house you can make beautiful walks through the pristine dunes and heathland. The Museum Ecomare is within walking distance.
Also, the location is ideal for cycling. In 0.5 to 1.5 hours you will reach the other character in very different places on the island, the lighthouse and the golf course on a bicycle. Or in 10 - 20 minutes by car.
Ride like? In about 5 minutes walk from two stables that offer riding lessons, forest rides or beach rides.
