Great spot, lovely time

  • 5 of 5
We had a great week here. Lovely apartment with views of St. Paul du Vence and the pool, our own private terrace and plenty of room for our family of four to unpack and unwind at the end of each day. We really liked the location. After a long plane journey, it was great to be only 15 minutes from the Nice airport, yet up in the hills in a quiet, old estate. We took several day-trips and also stayed put just to enjoy the property and pool. Owners were great too.

Lovely property convenient to Nice and Antibes.

  • 5 of 5
Peaceful, well-maintained, air-conditioned, property in gated community 20 minutes from Nice Airport and a mile from St. Paul de Vence. Easy access to grocery stores. Owners were very responsive and easily accessible by email. There's a local property agent available.
Our kids loved the pool, located just around the corner and visible from top floor window.
Would definitly come again and wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Quiet Relaxing Villa Ideal for Sightseeing.

  • 5 of 5
We enjoyed some glorious weather when we stayed here and found the air conditioning very useful if we got too hot! The villa has a lovely authentic French feel to it and is homely and spacious. It is very clean, well maintained and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the private outdoor terrace and found the pool area quiet and relaxing. St. Paul and Vence were charming villages with plenty of good restaurants. This location is ideal for sightseeing and we enjoyed relatively short trips to the resorts of Cannes, Nice, Juan les Pins and Cap Ferrat, as well as other historical mountain villages of Gourdon (via the Gorges du Loup) and La Turbie, and also a train journey to Monaco / Monte Carlo. We found the owners helpful and easy to deal with. We had a lovely holiday here and would highly recommend it to others.

Lovely property in a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5
We stayed her for a long weekend and it was just what we were after. The property is fully equipped with everything you could need and was very clean and nicely presented. The front patio is lovely and a real sun trap in the morning and afternoon. A ten minute walk into St Paul meant that a daily trip for fresh croissants was easily achieved! The pool is a good size and comes equipped with an adequate number of loungers and umbrellas. Although we didn't go with any children the house would be suitable for a family with small children - there were many games and toys to keep the younger kids entertained. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent views; private attractive location; pool

  • 5 of 5
We have traveled in the south of France twice before, both times with a focus on the immediate St. Paul de Vence area, and this is by far the best of the three accommodations. The rental is exactly as depicted in the ads, and if anything, the views are even better than described. We enjoyed quiet nights in this very private location and sun-drenched days on the terrace or at the pool. The house is well-equipped and suited our purposes perfectly -- we needed a base of operations for our exploration of the Cote d'Azur and this was a great spot -- 35 minutes to Frejus one way, 35 minutes to Monaco in the other direction. Getting to St. Paul, with its shops, restaurants, art galleries, and other interests, was a quick 7-8 minutes away. The only problem we had was achieving an internet connection, but this was resolved immediately by the agent and there was no inconvenience. If you are traveling with small children, or just enjoy a daily swim, the pool is a much better facility than what you might expect...we swam every day, and it is large enough to swim laps. There are three beds in the lodging - one double bed, which is just a bit small, and two twin beds, which are perfect for adults or children. The balcony views from both of the bedrooms will take your breath away. For the practical, the kitchen is well-equipped and the washer and dryer add to the convenience. An excellent value for the money, and we would definitely stay again.

St Paul De Vence Villa

  • 5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay in this villa.

It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It has a courtyard garden which is completely private and is accessed by french doors directly off the living room so really feels like an extension of indoors.

There is air conditioning throughout the property which is very easy to use and is very effective. The property is light and bright (I don't understand the other reviewers comments about lights but we certainly didn't have any problems when we were there).

The communal pool was always quiet and is large enough for a proper swim.

Photos and description on the site are all very accurate.

St Paul is a 5 min drive / 20 min walk away - it is an enchanting village full of fantastic galleries and restaurants.

All in all a great holiday and a great property - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
